My Vegas Trip
So, I went to Las Vegas last weekend to look for a caterer and DJ for the wedding...

Painters tape. Gotta have protection!

The last time I went to Vegas, going into the city, I watched a couple of accidents happen while I was stuck in traffic.
Kind of scary.. I think after driving there, I left my car in the parking structure and walked everywhere. No head butting of cars, and I lost weight.
Although one might find some dents or scratches from not very nice people who think they know how to park or they just don't care.
Good luck, Bench. It shouldn't be that bad, just be careful when you're close to Vegas. I guess people mistake the gas pedal for the brake pedal.
Yes, Glen, your neck hurts.

still sucky.. if it's just the bumper... hey... at least it's an okay, simple fix... (still might cost ya.... but a replaceable part without any bodywork...)
Hey, guys.
The Pontiac hit the 4runner hard enough that it was pushed forward into my rear. We were both at a stop. The driver of the Pontiac admitted fault right away; he said he fell asleep behind the wheel.
Good news is it wasn't my fault. Bad news is the Pontiac driver's insurance told me that his coverage expired in Feb and I have a $500 deductible. They're still investigating. I'll keep you all updated.
And unfortunately, I wrote down in the police report that neither I nor my fiancee were hurt...

here is the best news of the whole story though:
neither I nor my fiancee were hurt
Here's an update to the insurance news:
So the guy at fault was driving with expired insurance. Now, my insurance has uninsured driver's insurance. But, I'm worried because I filed a claim with my insurance already and I don't want my rates to go up. Does anybody have experience with this? I'm not sure what to do.
I have a $500 deductible but it doesn't look like there's $500 worth of damage. Am I screwed?

I think as long as it wasn't your fault, your rates won't go up. $500 deductible is always going to happen once you file the claim and have it done by insurance. In this case, I'de say get your moneys worth and get upgrades. Give insurance the tab. Like people said, time to upgrade!
PS. So, you went to Vegas and got rear-ended? That sounds wrong on many levels. I thought you were suppose to keep that in Vegas?
