Navigation System Question
I'm not just being a smart ___ this time, but AAA has free maps for all its members, and I've never been lead wrong by one of those! I still think I'd be stuck in the middle of California being eaten by vultures after a detour from pre-planned directions got me a "little" off course. lol If it weren't for the maps I had with me. At least to tide you over til you can get the funds for a good GPS.
lmao @ Starbucks GPS, too bad you can't use one to pinpoint a location, but at least you know you're not in the middle of nowhere.
Does that d3 only work in the car? Or can you take it inside a house/hotel and plan your next trip?

If your looking for one that you can use in your headunit, but take it out of your car, Eclipse has one, but I'm not sure of its name, or its price. Personally though i would go with the D3, i am going to get one....when i get the money.
STNC i know which HU you are talking about and its not even that pretty.. the alpine IVA-W205 has the blackbird compatibility but it is quite pricey since you have to buy the unit atop of the nav.

also are you looking for an integrated one or a portable one?

A month ago I bought the TomTom One portable, but i returned it because I didn't like how you try to enter in the address and it would ask for the cross street. I'm looking to get a portable one for now, but eventually I want to get a integrated one. I really don't want to spend a lot of money for one. I've also seen the Eclipse's Navi In-Dash and I have to say that I don't like how it looks. My friend equinox2355 has the Eclipse AVN5435 which I've seen and I like it, but I'll have to save up for something like that.
