Woah... you guys went to L&L and you didn't call me??? There's another Hawaiian BBQ @ Automall too in the Pacific Commons. I want to try that one... LET'S EAT Hawaiian Style....

 

Roger, they opened a Hawaiian bbq next to the parking lot we used to hold meets at here in Tracy. Jamba Juice, Starbucks and Hawaiian bbq all within a short walk!

 

We really need to get this as a sticky.

Hey everyone this is actually my first time posting but I have been involved in the Scion life for a couple of years now. Kris, you had some great points to make and I just wanted to add my 2 cents along the same lines.

I remember when David first joined Scion life and at first I thought oh great now my husband is going to drag to a bunch of stupid meets with guys that just talk about their cars, however I have been pleasantly suprised.

Everyone David and I have met have been so kind and accepting of us and we have made many friends and hopefully not too many enemies. I just hope that people who are new to the scene can come and meet the people involved and base their judments on that.

Nor Cal Scions is a family, but we need to remember that we all choose to be here. Friends are the family you chose and just like regular families there are people that are moochers, people that cause drama, people that help out whenever it is needed etc. I think that if we can remember that we are all just human and that everyone is entitled to their opinion and respect each other that everything will be just fine.

kris ,,,, i read the whole damn thag too !!! like roger did !!! damn ,, you keep me interested ~!!! hehehehehe.. GREAT POST !!!! even if it was old .. i remember the first meet i when to .. it was in union city , kk meet .. remeber those ??? anywhy i pull up and was in awwh .. it was great to see other cars like ours there , but they were fixed up ( back then it was wheels and lowered ) EVERYONE was sooooo , nice .. meet gabe and doctor cue , and roger , m@ , 2fix , others i can;t remeber .. but is was different then ..... a few months later , i had the chance to bring a few new faces to the next meet .... marvin ,steve, julio ,pat ,allen ,floyd .... so , please people ,,,, remeber you where once , the new guy to a meet ,,, treat everyone kindly and help them out ...just my 4cents ... anyone got me for a penny ????

With lovin praise!!! That is the most heart felt postin i have seen in a long time on scionlife. It hits right to the point> Even though we all come from different parts of society and life we have one mutual bond our beloved scion. Weather it be an xa or xb or tc we all have come to love our car. Man and woman and even child!One day in this great earth of ours we will be come richened and will be able to agree and live side by side but until than we must learn how to and why!! to get along. I my self have been to a few events some where great and some i felt left out. I still enjoyed the company i took with me and will continue to rnjoy the life of scion. God bless!!! UNCLEBIGE
