anyone recommend a good tinting place here in sf?

 

we will be having a tint day at precision muffler very soon

it will be at precision muffler precision muffler in milpitas basiclly we get a group of scion owners togeather and tint all day

 

When is that going to be? I missed the last one due to being out of the area. Please let it be soon!

 

we are shooting for next Saturday the 19th gabe will be posting something up

 

Damn, will have to miss it again. I will be at a conference the whole weekend! Oh well, I guess it's not meant to be.

dont really wanna drive that far for tint...if it was closer i would definately go

 

i got my tint done in frisco on 5th and harrison called Auto Tech

All 5 windows out the door for 200. It took about an hour and i just walked down to the metreon.

There are tons of tint shops in SF. You can always look in the phone book or online. I had my car done and refered many of my friends to the shop above. You take it in and they do it. the only wait you have is while it's being done.

I rode my bicycle to Auto Tech yesterday, they quoted me at $225 for the seven rear windows to tint to 5% with a lifetime warranty. They said they use Johnson tint material...never heard of it, is it really a known brand?

Myself and 7 others have had tint done here and have had no problems. if you happen to get bubbles just roll by and they will fix it. I paid 200 for 5 windows so i dont think your quote is bad but if someone else wants to chime in with a place that is less.... That would be cool. but looking around the site and hearing from other people I dont think 225 is bad

 

Well I got the Auto Tech seven window tinting described above...good stuff. Yep the price seems decent considering how many frickin windows are on the box.
