overall, it was a good meet, show, get together. i didnt really care too much about the "car show" part imo. i was just happy to hangout with my norcal friends and drink up some brews. and ofcourse taqueria. okay i lied. it was about taqueria first then norcal friends haha jk. did i get hella points for the splattered bugs on my windshield? lol. brad thanks for the police yellow tape.

 

 

well considering we were COMPLETELY left outa the judging and dont know how it went i would consider that a legitimate question. :D

Okay come on guys, this event is suppose to solve everything and put things behind. Let the show go. The intended purpose of this event is to bridge the gap together bring Nor Cal or the Scion community back together as it should be. Let the competition go and remember the good times you all had over the weekend. There are other shows to do this, but please as a request let it go. The people involved in putting this together worked really hard to make this happen for us, so please respect them enough not to drag it to the ground. I am very sorry for not making this. Out of all the events this year, this was suppose to be the one to be at. I owe a lot of you a personal sorry.

I wasnt at the show, but from what I do know is a lot of people put effort into this and no need to throw dirt at each other over awards and such. It's not worth it. Recognition can be given by letting that person know they have a nice car or takin mad pics of it. To me that is a reward on its own. Now I need to find some people to pay to take pics of my car to satisfy my needs. LOL.

James, yeah man I should be there. I got caught up sick the last couple months and never got ahead so I couldnt make Scion Nation. I really tried to make it a point to go, but BofA says no and lead the wife to say that too with authority. lmao

Well, James and myself were one of the 11 people putting this show together hence why I can do some knocking =)

Though what we did doesn't get recognized and left out of the judging so its fine though.

NOTE: you do not need to hate on me for what i just said or delete what i just because its nothing but the truth and there is no hard feelings so please don't hate or delete.

 

Oh naw I never hate on no one and I'm not like that at all. Rather than put that all on here, why not all sit as a group (as organizers) and handle it privately not on the open boards. I heard some people raving about it and there's no need for them to see that side. The guests are innocent at this one and dont need to see any drama from it.

 

I wish I could have made this show. I really wanted to make it up there. It was a 14 hour trip one way for me. I just did not have the money or time right. I was in So cal the weekend before for the Seibon Event.
I really wish I could have came up and help support the Nor Cal group. Sounds like the show was decent.

I will say one thing here and this was a major flaw for me. There was all these things promised up to the show. Guest speakers, Lots of things to do, big plans.

Nothing was ever said on what all this was. I asked many times on who the guest speakers where on multiple forums and never got a response or got a response that was "it is coming." If I am going to drop a decent amount of money on a show and driving 14 hours. I want to know what I am for. Not just a "show up and you will see". It just seems alot of communication was dropped for the show. That is a big factor for me for sure.

This not a attack anyone or any group. Just a FYI on what can be done better next time. I really miss the chance to hang out with Nor Cal group though.

I still waiting for response eav10xb! Who's car. If you cant say who then don't say at ALL! Why post about someones car on a public forum but no one knows who your talking about!

 

The reason he got 2nd was because of the install. The TC had a very clean install and the Xb had big gaps.

 

You and James did'nt get left out. When we started doing the Judging we could find you guys. We were told by your friends that James was upstairs again and I was not going to go try to get him. It was me and him doing the Xb 1st gen judging and we did not have time to wait for him.

 

Well if you want to know you should have asked. The white JDM Xb was awesome but we were judging on a 1-10 scale just like HIN. The reason he got 2nd was he lost 10 points because he couldn't open his hood. Angel has an almost perfect engine bay,Angel also has full stereo and TV's and the white Xb didn't.
