Does anyone have the OEM lower grille for the tC they do not need? I'm willing to buy it if you're willing to sell. I'm planning to have Dakine do the upper grille mod for me. Thanks.

 

post a WTB in the classifieds. i think you will get a better response.

 

I would also talk to one of the dealership service depts. Especially find a technician that does the factory option installs. They might have some lower grills that they will ended up just throwing away.

 

they are supposed to give those back to the owners if the dealership doesn't give you your oem parts back it is like they are throwing away parts of your car.

 

Hmm, though brand new tCs? I dont mean the tCs that were already sold for more than couple week afterwards. More of those tC that needs to have "the fogs installed bc that's what the customer ordered on their Scions.

So nothing done out of the norm. Very few customers would ask for the 17in stock rims if they upgraded to 18" Factory Options. Same applies to this, actually that might be a bad analogy, oh wellz. LOL

 

typically if the customer doesn't ask... who's gonna take it? ehh.. it's usually thrown away or so.

it's not uncommon... if the owner doesn't want it.. what are the dealerships gonna do? save it around?

i know alot of stock axlebacks have been sent to the junkyard.

well whatever you do don't go out and just buy it from the dealership.

i'll check at stevens creek often for anyone who's getting fogs and has that grille to spare... there's one extra right now.. but it's mine.

 

That'd be great Squall. I'm riding without the front emblem right now, so I was going to buy one from Dakine. Then I saw his upper grille mod and he said he can do it for me, so that's why I'm in search for a lower grille.
