Well, I'm not sure if anyone else have gotten a ticket today but please read on and let everyone know ANY info. you've gathered.

I'm hoping it's just a one-niter and not an on-going thing. Cuz . . . they'll need the whole entire CHP force to deal with DC area. So many modded cars go to Starbucks Friday night so . . . if you are around that area and know something, please let us know. Thanks for your help.

 

Squirrel aka Brad, told me two days ago that they are starting to go after all cars that have stickers on them. Which in other words mean cars with mods LOL. So i believe it is going to be an ongoing thing.

But that wont stop any of us right? HELL NO!!!

I drive the speed limit and when im on the freeway i drive under the speed limit so they can try and get me for what ever they want, wont find anything illegal in my car.

 

Thats why I have no tint! Thats one of the things CHP (AAA with a gun) looks for. Sucks that Chris got pulled over, and thanks for the heads up.

 

Maybe we can get someone to be a rolling decoy. Anyone got a stock or near stock scion that we can just COVER with stickers? Whenever the cops roll by, we just have that one person slowly drive off.

The cops will pull him over and while their busy trying to get their probable cause search on, everyone else can sneak out of the way.

 

Hope my sticker doesn't get me in trouble.

LoLz Ed. I do know of a silver streak tC from Mtn View. He goes by the screen name of Etli. No stickers, stock and can cover it with stickers. Should I ask him?

Yup I got pulled over. Isnt that bad though. Just remove the Nology wires, OEM intake back in, and get the exhaust tested.

There were quiet a few CHP there roaming around.

 

Do they have jurisdiction though? Just like Mike1ft asked. Only on the highways though right?

I was driving 65 on 65 and i got pulled over on I-80 around uc davis and issued me 4 fix it tickets.. reason for getting pulled over was my reflector wasn't working (smoked taillight) and it was 4pm... go figure.

california needs money...

this is my speculation. i also found an article about last week's holiday accidents. it seemed high to me and the CHP crazy-ness could be a response to this..

 

Well, it's definitely been confirmed that the CHPs are after the tuners. Just watch out guys and gals. The reason? Not known yet. If you have like a HUGE Vinyl . . . and are around here, I suggest you might wanna think it over to take it off for the mean time til' it cools down. Several people that I know of has gotten pulled over. Not good!!
