So I went to Scion NightIII last night, parked far far away so I could walk past and admire all the other cool scions, everything was fine. Drive home an hour away, still fine. Go to work this morning, no problems. An hour later I remembered my name badge was in my car so I go outside and get about 20 feet away and see this big scratch running left to right on the back of my car! I could not even believe it so I walked right back into work and told everyone about my new custom paint job. Who the hell does stuff like that?! And I'm sorry to say that I lack a social life, but because of that, there is no one around to ____ off. All my customers at work like me (even if they didn't, they don't know what I drive) and everyone I know is totally cool with me. This sucks! I am pretty damn sure that it wasn't there yesterday before I went to Scion Night, so I don't know when exactly occured, but what's happened happened, and it makes me really wonder why someone at random would do that.

If anyone has any touch up tips for a Black sand pearl, I'd aprreciate it. Hope this stuff doesn't happen to any of your rides for no reason.

 

There is no answer to your question---there is just a lot of hate and jealousy out there. I had my window broken about a year ago--there is just no reason for this stuff.

dont people just ____ you off? god stuff like this makes me so angry. i was at a gas station today and at the pump in front of me was an infiniti g35x. someone had keyed the word '_______' into the hood. amazing what people in this world will do to each other

 

yea they are jerks... just last weekend the day that i was leaving for the HIN show in vegas somebody hit my car and took off.... so i had a couple nice marks on my bumper... i cant say that i have ever gotten keyed, but i have had my valve stems cut off, and been egged... totally sucks

 

I feel for ya. Though my car is fine, someone put a deep gouge in the driver's side of my wife's flawless (until then) '04 Sienna. The gouge went from the taillight to the headlight....which on a van makes for a very long scratch indeed. It was certainly not a key as it was way to deep....probably a large knife, ect.

We were out of town visiting the in-laws. So it was just a random act the second night we were there. $1425.00 was the bill.....thank goodness for insurance.

The utter lack of respect that certain elements of our society have for other's property is staggering.

 

Yeah sometimes it really makes me not like people in general and makes me wanna hide away, in a land filled with pastries maybe. lol But seriously, I don't know if I'm just having bad luck this week or if some jerk out there is out to mess with me, but on Wednesday, when I went outside to see how my newly painted a/c ***** looked compared to my seats (my seats are black on the outside, with red down the middle, and I just painted the ***** to match) my co-worker said I got donked. I'm like what? And he said I got hit on my driver's side corner bumper somewhere, kinda on the fender flare. And I got out of my car to see part of one panel was popped out and I was furious. No paint was missing or left, but I was so mad! People just suck! You know if you have an accident, that's just it, an accident, if someone bumped into my car while they were backing out or something, they could at least have the decency to leave a note. But noooo, there are far too many people who only care about themself and their stuff. How many of you have had people make bad comments on your boxes? I just don't get that either, to go out of your way to say something mean. Do you know how many cars I've seen that I think are hideous? I don't go out of my way to tell the owner "hey your car looks like ..." it's sad really. Oh well. I'm just gonna tell myself that my car was keyed because someone saw my really cool ***** and was jealous. lol

I had the same thing happen to me but worst. They scratched the whole car around, twice, they werent happy enough with one line so had to do it twice. I had to repaint my whole entire car. It was scratched for about 3months and its not cool. I hate jealous people...

 

I keyed someone's hood cause the a$$hole parked his POS Taurus, literally, ON MY REAR BUMPER...

 

My jaw just dropped when I read that, around the whole car and twice!?! That is sooo not cool. Man I feel for you. Damn. Kinda puts mine into perspective.

And replying to the one who said they keyed a car because they parked ON your bumper, I understand that. The whole point is when someone does it for no reason, I don't understand it. If someone's gonna be an a$$ and park their car and literally screw your car up in the process, then obviously they don't care about their car in the first place, so they probably enjoyed the scratch you added. Maybe they went home and told some other morons "look what someone did in retaliation when I messed up their car, awesome!" You maybe there's a "how stupid can you be" club out there somewhere.

Im pretty sure it was jealousy since my car was the only new car in the lot. Good thing i just buffed the scratched right out after giving it a good detail after all the food was put on it.

 

yup bs i tell ya...when i bought my box i parked far away and still got messed with ...i came out of the store and behold there was a white outline of a door on my fender...theres also a dent right were the flare of the fender is..i was so ____ed had like 20 miles on her..i felt like hiting every white car in the lot.....i also remeber when i had my 87 vw scirocco some guy parked so close to me that i could barely squezze by to get in my car so i slammed my car door into his truck a few times lol...i bet he enjoyed the black primer i left behind for him...

 

I don't think I ever knew "burritoed" was a verb. lol But I understood exactly what you must have been talking about. Not only does that suck for you with all that food on your car, but what kind of dummy would waste a good burrito?! Burritos are awesome! Now if some ever nachoed my car, it truly would be a sad day, I'm ponder why someone messed up my car like that with a waste of good nachos...and as I was eating the mess off my car I'd probably wish that they didn't have any jalapenos mixed in. I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy stuff.

 

Sorry to hear about that I thought what happened to my car in the parking lot was bad and it was just someone spitting chuncks of chocolate ice cream all over my door and window........

Yea I guess you can say my luck is not exactly great.... but it is what it is. I am fortunate that is was spit not a scratch guess I never thought of how fortunate I am....
