I guess it's really a lack of nothing better to do combined with people who don't treat people how they'd want to be treated. I mean you don't want it to happen to you, so don't do it to someone else. Not like I'm a saint or anything, but if someone goes by for no reason to screw with someone's car just to kill time...I just don't get it. There are just so many people out there who I'd like to turn around the tables on. See how they like it. But I bet it's mostly kids just being kids who do this stuff. I just don't remember ever causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to any random car just to do it.[/code]

For fun?

Because they're bored?

Because they're a$$holes?

Because the people who's cars they're keying are a$$holes?

Because the people who's cars they're keying did something stupid, obnoxious, or a$$holey?

Because they can and there are no consquences to them?

I vote for Number 3! At least in my case, I don't have very many people in my life and the ones that I do are cool with me, so number 3 is my vote. You know the saying though, Karma is a b*tch!

Someone got my wifes BSP from front to back on the passenger side. Needless to say, she was NOT a happy camper. That goes double for me considering that her car is a Lease and will have to be painted before it goes back now......or we have to buy it. Oh well, such is life........lol. Two years from now before it goes back it might look worse than it does now. Nothing like living in or near the City and having to park in the street!

Oh damn I didn't even think about leased cars. That totally sucks for you, I know you have to keep those cars in pristine condition. Did you find out how much it would cost for repairs? I'm hoping *crossing my fingers* that maybe covering my car will ward off at least some of the morons out there. And if they try anything, maybe the cover will take the brunt of the damage. Probably cheaper to replace a knifed car cover than to fix the car.

you know whats even worse is that when you go to the cops and you tell them that you know who did it. They say either say "You need proof," or if you dont have that, "Tough luck".

Now if some ever nachoed my car, it truly would be a sad day, I'm ponder why someone messed up my car like that with a waste of good nachos...and as I was eating the mess off my car I'd probably wish that they didn't have any jalapenos mixed in. I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy stuff.

I once had my car tuna noodle casseroled!

People just have so much anger because (they think) their lives suck. They just strike out without thinking how it would feel if someone did it to them. What the heck happened to the Golden Rule?

My car...fortunately NOT my xB ...was keyed after I asked two people to move their car so I could load up some landscaping stuff at Walmarts. I thought I asked nicely...but man it made them so mad. They looked like nice upper middle class people. Get this...They followed me after I left and keyed my car after I stopped for coffee. Man...I mean they like stalked me and did it...in the middle of the day...on Sunday to godssake! Jeesh!

I left it on my car for a long time to remind me of brotherly love and all that. lol

i had a classmate who had almost the same thing happen. someone followed her to work one day keyed the car and left a note. on the note it said something like "learn how to drive or next time it wont be your car"
