Hello all!

This is my roll-call thread for the Scion Backstage that is being held in Puyallup, WA (the "Seattle" event site).

Date: Tuesday, June 19th

When asking at the last event what "average" attendance is like, Rob & I were told that Los Angeles had "about 300 people" and that was the largest showing. Now I'm not sure how accurate that was but I'm sure that the Pacific Northwest can beat that!!!

Come on now...who's going!?!?!

I'm going to be a good girl and ask for a sticky on this thread and post the list of current attendees in the second post!

Why are these always during the week???

 

because they are evil that way

but its not like theres a set start time and if you show up a bit late you SOL....

 

Well see, i can't get days off during the week that easily..... I'm already taking too many off for all these darn car shows where I have to roll in the day before =)

I am going to really try to make this one 'cause I heard the Oregon one was fun and I haven't been to one of these for what ever reasons.

Are we parking inside the fairgrounds or outside?

 

who cares just come it starts at 4:00 for the dealership peeps. And at 5:00 for all others, and you can come and go as you like all evening. It is really fun. Any and all should come. it is a chance to see that Scion did not let us down on this new product.

 

well that's better that it starts later in the evening.. i will do my darnest to swing for this and make it happen

 

We should all be sure to let everyone we know who even MIGHT be interested to come to Puyallup and drive the new xB2. The guys putting on the show in Portland had their act together, the food was good (and as much as you wanted) and it was nice to learn about the new machine without anyone trying to sell you one.

It was also nice getting into some serious conversations with random dealership/scion folks about both the xB Original and the new xB2.

They seemed just as interested in learning from us as we were in learning from them.

I don't know... the new xb just looks funny to me.... Guess i better see it in person & drive it before making a final judgement!!
