Well, Doug, that would sure as heck narrow down who I'd be looking for as a suspect. Stupid criminals!

Sorry to hear about this! The one night my husband didn't park in the garage someone tried to break into his car. Didn't do anything except for push in the key hole, but still. I hate the feeling of a car being helpless! I hope everything works out for you in the end!

No thats not funny. Unfortunately it takes an extreme event for some people to learn. At least he's alive. It could have been worse. Now maybe he will do something more constructive with his life. It's sad to see people throw away their future doing stupid stuff.

factory security.

Notified the cops, and will make a financial judgment on notifying the insurance... It looks like about 1100-1200

Window ($200)
Ipod ($100)
Center Console ($577)
Cd Player ($250)
My advice (I am an insurance agent in Oregon) would be to talk to your agent. What insurance provider do you have? I can't speak for your company (unless you have American Family) but that grand majority of insurance companies don't charge you for comprehensive theft claims unless you have a LOT of them in a 3 year span. Simply put, they're not your fault, so why should you pay more? Just make sure to consult with the agent since some companies will surcharge if it is over a certain dollar amount. Also, keep in mind that asking them about it is safe. You have to file a claim before they will even look at changing rates.

spoke with the agent this morning. Replacing the window $210 installed with be my deductible. All will be replaced according to dealership prices and labor.

center console 583
stereo 390
laber 250-300

Also my dad has a 1400 GM cd player laying around, so I get the cash from the sale of that, and avic-d3, tint and the motorized cover. Then once my check comes through a much better alarm.
