Default WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS!!!!!!

Arrrrrgh!!!!! I was driving to Albany,GA on a business trip and a Folsom Construction dump truck spewed rocks from it's trailer all over my car on I-75 South! They are doing the work on the Interstate around Perry, GA, so watch out! I got at least 10 paint chips/dents on the hood, grille, and fenders. One softball size hole smashed in the windshield with stess cracks. I wasn't even in the same lane as the truck and I was about 150 to 200 feet behind it. To top my week off, the hotel, Hampton Inn, charged my check card that was only used to hold the room instead of using the Direct Bill I set up between them and my employer. That drained my account and caused some financial problems!

i was behind a dump truck the other day. it was a two lane road with corn fields on either side for about 4miles. there was nothing in the truck but some dirt and rocks where come out the back onto my car. so i went out to pass him....and when i am level with this front tire he swerved onto the yellow line!!! lucky i got around him fine but then he turns his high beams on me! there was a car following me around the truck that had to slam the brakes on as to not get sideswiped. so after im in front and he is high beaming me i slowed down alot to hold him up and let the other cars get around. he began to swerve back and forth and tailgate me! then drives down the yellow line so no1 can get around him. im hoping someone got this plate number! I HATE truck drivers.

They submitted it to their insurance company. I am going to make sure they use genuine Toyota products or else I will have my insurance do it and then take them to court.

Blah, sounds like me, route 32 here is a mess from construction at I95 and I got my front end pelted with gravel, then had a large size rock side shoot from a truck and nail the side of my windshield. Repair guy said even if he fills it, it will still be noticeable.

I feel you on the I75 issue! Yesterday my wife dropped me off at school to do some cramming for a test, it wasn't 15 min before she called with the news that a truck kicked up a rock cracking the **** out of the windshield. Needless to say, I f-ing hate big rigs! I think they should have thier own roads, seperate from passenger vehicles. I know it would cost a fortune but it would definately have huge advantages such as safety people as well as cars.

Never use a check card for a hold. If it gets taken, or done like that, you lose the money with no recourse or a long time to get it. Much better to let a credit card company fight it out.

Default HMMMMM.....

You hate truck drivers.......
and blocked him whilst letting others pass......
your juvenile attitude is showing....

I don't like some of the tactic's used by mostly local truckdrivers(As well as the Local Commuters) however to hate all truckdrivers is a very poor reflection on yourself as well..
Remember.."If You Bought It, A TruckDriver Brought It"

A 3.5+ million safe miler
(yes..that is 3.5+MILLION MILES..)

What does your driving record look like hmmmmm???????

the guy swerved to knock me and another car off the road (had i been in a large car or any truck i would have been into the corn feild, my driver side tires were in the gravel on the shoulder) becasue he didnt want to be passed. i dont care how many miles he drove he desearves to be taken off the road.

not to mention all the tractor trailers that pass you on the highway in rainy/snowy conditions (hell even dry conditions) going way to fast and would never be able to stop if need be.

and PS my driving record is squeaky clean. if my actions are juvenile what are his called?

I don't all the drivers, I hate the rigs themselves. I don't care what anyone says they are a pain in the ****. I don't know why it is that truck drivers think they own the road.9 times out of 10 when traffic on the interstate has to slow down here it's due to either A) A rig in the wrong lane or B) An accident caused by a big rig.

wow sorry bout your rocks but the hating on drivers is a bit much.

as for them getting their own freeways i thought we all liked cheap gas and cheap products...

most truckers like most 4 wheeler drivers are decent people that drive decent machines.

i have also done well overe a million miles in rigs, cars, bikes, trucks, vans, suvs etc the 'problem' i see overe and over and overe again is driver neglegence. from where i sit the mix is about 55/45 to the rig drivers favor, do i have imperical proof? no this is what i have actually seen overe the course of 15 years throughout 15+ states.

situational awareness is the big buzz word that needs to be passed around people just aren't willing to put forth the effort to be a safe driver.

now all that being said there is the oh $hit factor that people can't account for those are true accedents the rest are wrecks which were avoidable

I have a simple way to get back at truck drivers that drive like ____, if they are swerving like you said making it unsafe for people on the road I'll turn on my siren, that usually works, when it doesn't I call the police, but I have to work with truck drivers alot

They "reversed" the charges...but it still hasn't shown up yet. I think I have got the bank on my side, so hopefully they will clear it up with the hotel. If not, then I will be glad to write a nice editorial in the local paper about both the bank and the hotel.

Oh, and to think I though it was people from Alabama and Florida driving 15 under the speed limit in the left lane, making rolling road blocks, and speeding up when you try to pass them that cause most interstate accidents.
