work is boring, generally. I've probably spent more time studying how to replace my gauge and console LED's in the last few days than I have writing any code, hehe.

You can't be talking about the gauge and hvac leds! I mean i guess if you're skilled at soldering it is but.. i'm having my roomate (electrical engineer at intel) do the soldering, and i'll just take everything apart. buying him a bottle of gray goose to say thanks

I'm not a electrical engineer, but if you can solder a modchip in an xbox/ps2 you can do this mod with ease.

lol well I haven't soldered anything since middle school, so I'll probably defer this one! I just painted my emblems myself and that was a big step for me

 

need something to mod? why not mod my xB for me? I'm broke as hell and just barely scraping by so my box is staying stock for a good minute.

i was thinking about painting my rear emblem until i get a garnish with it debadge or get some bsp paint so i can attempt to shave (fill) it.

Maybe i'll paint those fake carbon fiber M3 mirrors i have... unless someone wants to trade me a pair OEM ones. I already soldered in the connector so it should be plug and play.
