I have been wooting like a madman!

 

almost bought one of those underwater scooters.... almost

 

my big purchase was the 37" LCD, gonna move the rear projecton to the kids room for gaming and hang the new one on the wall in the living room.

I soldered a modchip into my Wii, and I soldered in some LEDs on my Wiimote. I had a big problem with the polarity for the tiny 0603 LEDs. I burned off quite a few because I got the polarity mixed up. I can only imagine how much harder it would be for the gauges/HVAC LEDs. The Tech articles here make me go @_@ when I read them.

 

the woot descriptions are more entertaining than the items some times

 

the LEDS have "<" on them to show which way it should be oriented!

 

^^ yup... depending on style... either 1 lead is longer than the other, if round led there is a flat edge to it... among a few ways to note direction

 

dang it... missed the bag of crap on woot by like 5min... dang lunch breaks

 

I went to my kids music thing at his school and missed the bandolier of carrots and fedex came and went with my lip kit!

How bad does that suck?
