Whoo hoo my homeboy Kevin Garrett has finally won a championship ring. Boy does he deserve it. For you NBA fans out there you have to admit from the day he entered into the NBA draft until now he works his butt off every game and not too many NBA players like him care to do that

 

I really have not liked basket ball since they interuted the game way back when with OJ in that damn Bronco...............

But in all seriousness we are very lucky to get to see a Boston/Lakers Championship Series..............both teams are great to watch all season...........but I have always been a Celtic fan..........Bill Russell was like a God growing up and Bird..........well it really was something........

I was amazed at the poor defense the Lakers showed in this game........they looked really bad.......and did not seem to play like a team........

Nice to see Pierce play the series like he did........he has come a long way.......went from #10 in the draft to world Champion MVP.........he did get the MVP didn't he....

yes pierce got MVP...hows our native RAY ALLEN's 3 - point shooting.....all i have to say is DAMMMNNN!!!!!

 

I kinda got distracted with other stuff but Ray had 5 3 pointers at that time........and I heard he got more.........

 

Allen ended the game with 26 pts. and was 7 of 9 from three point land. Glad to see these guys take it, tired of hearing about Kobe. I hope they can keep these three together for a few more years, could be a run of championships for the Celtics again. I grew up a Lakers fan with West, Goodrich, Harrison, Chamberlain, and Hawkins, but, always liked the Celtics too.

 

AMEN!!!! I'm glad the celtics won, although when they beat my pistons I wasn't too happy... and no Kobe will NEVER be an 'MJ' I won't lie he has skills, but he is no where near the person MJ is, nor will he ever be..

i knew boston would win...come on thats the best dream team of players. The best rebounder, leading scorer, and a they had alot of talent and teamwork, im glad they won...kobe is a one man team....better next year lakers...!

Celtics FTW! My wife and I were going for Boston cause she went to highschool with Kevin Garnett...

 

Ya thank ga Boston won that series.. I wanted to see Kobe cry so bad 'cause he isn't all that he thinks he is.. There was no way the lakers were going to win that series with only a couple good players when Boston had a whole team of great players.

Glad to see Garnett, Allen and Pierce (who played outstanding)

As a life long Minnesotan, it was bittersweet. I was happy for KG, but I wish he got his ring as a t-wolf. Well as long as McHale is running the front office that team will be lucky to make the playoffs in the next 10 years. McHale it is the Matt Millen of the NBA. Congrats KG, you earned it.
