quick question, im gonna go out and replace the fronts tomorrow,

which is better?? Ceramic or Semi - Metallic?

and what brand should i buy and what to stay away from?

Ceramic is the best!! I have them and I am so glad I do, no noise and very little dust. I have performance.

 

get the oem toyota brake pads =)

 

semi-metalics are great for daily and light track, Ceramic are intended for heavy duty or track use. Most nationally known OEM replacement manufacturers are fine, I prefer Beck-Arnely, Wagner and Bosch personally, but always stay away from Raybestos. If you want a performance brand look @ Hawk or Stoptech.

 

yep depends on what you want them to do......I like Ceramic as they seem to bite a bit better once warm.

i would go with OEM buuuut they want like $60 for them... i think ill go with Ceramics, that are a little cheaper.. and from what you guys say, better
