or about 75,200+ plain old telephone lines....

and we gotta wait for the power company to fix first....

as far as the distance thing goes... you'd be surprised out how phone stuff is wired....

theres stuff in montana that travels 500+miles across the state.. just to add a remote test point in a circuit that starts/ends at either end of the same small city/town
