Well, as I was driving home late one night going through Federal Way, WA. I heard this ticking in the back of my box.

So as I slowed down, I noticed an older 80's four-door Chevy Cavalier, White with a spoiler on the tunk. I noticed a black spray-paint spot on the driver side near the rear of the vehicle.

ANYWAYS, They were shooting air-soft plastic bb's at my box!

SO i dialed 911 and they took all of the information (which took them forever).
I chased the car around for 5min. and stopped when I noticed I was doing 80+ in a 25 in a residential neighbor hood.

After waiting for 2hours for Federal Way PD i gave up and went home. I called them back, and they didn't know what to say! I can see small dents (just barely).

But this wasn't the 1st time this has happened to me. I was also shot by a pellet riffle in the hatch of my box, right above the xB emblem.

I never saw the individual, but heard from news that they cought a kid with a pellet riffle on the same day i noticed the deep quarter sized dent.

SO, I leave the dents there, to remind myself, and to show others that Scion's won't and don't take ____ from anyone. There's a lot of us out there!

I better not see that car again! So, I want to put 2 Police spot-lights on my xB along with Police push-bumpers! (cause i'd hate to hurt my box, little lone see my box get hurt, or other peoples' Scions get hurt) SO, Be carefull out there Scion's! -Mike

 

Wow... that sux dude...... BOOO on Fed Way PD.... think they'd take something like a car shooting (fake or not) a bit more seriously....

hopefully you got the plate # along with the car description... to the PD.. hopefully they'll follow up...

chances are they were shooting at others cars too... (i hope not just targeting scions)

 

Sucks to hear about that! At least it sounds like damage was minimal!!

Can't say I would have stopped chasing them (unless I ran out of gas that is) but even then I'd run like hell after the little $-its!

Are you new to SL Mike, or have I just never noticed your posts before?

 

I know, anything involving shooting or guns, should be taken serious. Oh well, what can I do? Thier the law, they know what to do...I guess! YEah, I got a plate#! They supposibly got that all on file! And na! not new, been here for a year, just too darn busy all the time to get on the web, period!

 

Thats good.... i'd follow up with them in a day or 2.. just to see if its still on their radar or not.... had it been tp or water ballons, i'd report and forget.... but since they were shooting bbs... airsoft non the less(talk about realistic looking) .. i'd keep them searching on it till they find the owner of the car at minimum

Yeah, Fed Way PD is not cool when it comes to responding. The reason is that they are short staffed and it takes awhile to respond to all the BS calls that come in and take up time. Really sucks man, I would have kept going after them.....

 

Yeah, but AAH! OWE! the scraping over the HUGE speed-bumps! plus just racking up the RPM's in the long gear ratio's wanting more speed. Just thought it was best to stop, before someone called the cops on me! SOOO, I bought a M16 automatic air-soft riffle, that shoots the same bb's @ 270fps! So, it's on, Just kiddin'. I won't carry it around with me.

 

that sucks, the PD over here is like that too. never respond to anything.

 

Boy, I hate overworked and underpaid cops..........
