Default surround sound question

does anyone know if this would work with a ddx7017. i wanna have dolby surround sound, so i'm trying to figure out how to hook up a center channel speaker for 5.1surround.

depends on wether or not the ddx has digital audio outputs..... BTW...doing complete DTS in car gets expensive...

It's actually not too bad now. Kenwood released their DDX8017 with the built-in Dolby Digital/DTS Decoder with Pre-outs for front, rear, center, and sub.

$1699.99 or less for the deck depending on where bought. Center speakers are pretty cheap and some come with amps. You can do it for easily under $2500.
