Road Closures and General Air Show info:
Sterile Corridor Road Closures
The following road closures will occur within the sterile corridor during the times listed above. NO TRAFFIC will be allowed on these roads during these times:
Evergreen Road between 264th and NE 15TH - no traffic west on Evergreen and no traffic south on NW 264th
NW 273rd – North from Evergreen
NE Brookwood Parkway between Dawson Creek and Cornell Road
NE Airport Road at NE 48th between the bridge and Brookwood Parkway
NW 268th & NW 264th from Evergreen Road to Airport Road
NW Sewell Road, 5100 block south to Evergreen Road
NE Evergreen at NE 25th
NE 25th from NE Beacon Ct North to NW Evergreen
Aerobatic box road closures
Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday, during the time that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels are not performing, an aerobatic box, which is an isolated zone of safety, must be established for all other aircraft:
Friday, August 10, 2007: 7:00 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday, August 11, 2007: 9:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Sunday, August 12, 2007: 9:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
The following road closures will occur within the aerobatic box during the times listed above. NO TRAFFIC will be allowed on these roads during these times:
NW 268th & NW 264th from Evergreen Road to Airport Road
Airport Road between the bridge and Brookwood Parkway
Brookwood Parkway between Triquint Semi Conductor and Cornell Road
LIMITED TRAFFIC ONLY: (Friday, 7:00 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
NE 25th between Cornell Road and Evergreen Road
Traffic will be limited to residents who live in the area and their guests, employees who work at the businesses along NE 25th, and persons parking for the air show.
Traffic control will be required on streets adjacent to the sterile corridor to provide local residents, businesses, and Air Show spectator’s access and exit assistance. These roads will be controlled both Saturday and Sunday from approximately 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

stupid question but where at the dealership are we meeting?? behind or in one of the driveways??

 

hmmm, looks like the closures are just side streets, not going to affect hwy 26.

Probably Hwy 26 to 101 to Seaside. Then 101 South to Tillamook.

From Tillamook, take Hwy 6 home. Hwy 6 connects to 26 right after Banks.

So just to clarify the times. We're meeting at Gladstone at 9:30 or so. Then we'll head to Freddies on the way to the coast. If we realistically leave Gladstone at 9:45 - we should be at Fred's around 10:30.

 

sounds good to me, I'll plan on being at freddies at around 10am, which means I'll be there at around 10:30, lol.

 

I have really bad news (at least for me)...I can't go. We are short three managers right now, and I have to work all day!

I still would like you guys to meet here if you want...I will make sure I am here at 9:30. I am so sorry, but I really need my job, so I have to help where I can.

aww, thats too bad Kelly. We will take lots of pics and bring you back a bucket of sand, well, maybe get someone that lives out that way bring some sand by for your desk, don't work too hard, we will be thinking of you.
