So my friend won tickets to Daughtry yesterday morning. I couldnt get off work early so I couldnt go to the soundcheck and meet and greet. He put on a pretty good show though. Sounds good live. So did his opening acts. They actually sounded better live then on the songs I heard on a cd from them. I definitely am glad he didnt win American Idol though cuz I have more respect for him as an artist then I would if he did win American Idol.

Ooh I saw Jacks Mannequin on Monday too. That was a really good show! I highly reccommend people checking out Jacks Mannequin. Awesome band!!

 

I think his contract was bought out from Fox. And my wife is also glad he did not win. He has too much talent to be an American Idol. He should be back soon, the dates of the show were set before his album went gold/platnium.
