Default Does anybody know any places that are hiring?

Hey guys, I lost my job today and am looking for another. Talk about this not being a good time to be losing a job with the economy like this right now. Anyways anybody know any places that are hiring? It can be either full or part time.

Thanks

I know you have done some work for us at Nike. I've seen a good amount of activity over the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately, we are no longer recruiting for Nike on the local level. They have moved all Nike temp/contract recruiting & account management to our regional office in s.cal. This is what all large temp/recruiting agencies are moving towards, regionalizing recruiting. What this means for you...same opportunities just no personal interaction.

You can send your resume to lrgacctsnike@kellyservices.com.

You can also contact Kara.Boehlke@Nike.com who is actually on-site. Tell her you know me.

Sorry for the ranting.

Here you go:

Hollywood Entertainment/Movie Gallery

Hollywood Corporate building in Wilsonville. Hours would be either 8-5 or 11-8 and could possibly include Saturdays. First week is $9/hour during training and then it goes up to $10, should last 2-3+ months. Basically calling customers of stores that have closed and asking them if they want their account transferred to a different store.

I'm hiring at my pawn shop but it's in DFW, I'd try craigslist, hit the streets most jobs aren't advertised and good luck

I work for The Boeing Company, which is a global company. When asked, just mention that Scott D. Cookman referred you.

Good luck, I'm sure you will find something there. Just keep an open mind as to what you want to do and you should get an interview. One tip, when submitting your resume, do not put more than 10 years of work history, don't make it chronilogical, separate your experience by experience (i.e., management, people skills, technical skills, etc).
