Default Don't Tokyo Drift on 405

With the amount of rain we are having it's out of control. Do not drive fast, I found myself completely out of control on 405 as I was sideways drifting 4 lanes at 70mph. It was a Sunday and no traffic otherwise it would have been badnews. All you drivers in the NW it is Seriously Dangerous out, be careful.

You'd think that some of these PNW drivers had never seen rain before...

I think it's funny that people think the actual technique is called "Tokyo Drifting". Oh what a movie can do to sway the lexicon of our country.

But yes, be careful out there, gang. Hydroplaning is great and all, but only when it's with actual boats at Seafair.

Yes, 70 is too fast even though it was dry out at the time. Just an FYI that it is still slick out even on dry pavement due the humidity and moisture in the air. Watch the curves especially. The Tokyo Drift part was a joke although I didn't think it was very funny loosing control. I am not looking forward to the next 4 months of constant rain.

Remember - there's a lotta petroleum product in that pavement. When it gets wet, it all floats to the top. After the water's gone, there's still a fresh coat of oil on the road.
