Um sorry to inform you guys but there is paving going on enroute. Looks like 2 spots on I-90, as you can see by the yellow highlighted signs here:

My parents who headed out today, said that they were striping as well, they said the down hill into Vantage was down to 1 lane Eastbound for like 15 miles, and they never got above 40mph. They stopped for 2 breaks during the drive for a total of 30 min and it took them 8hrs to get to Coeur D'Alane.

Sooo...I don't know about you guys but I might leave a littel earlier and take my time in the fresh asphalt, I hate nothing worse than cleaning off road tar....

What does everyone else think?

 

I'm going to head Ellensburg US 97 to Wenatchee to US 28 to Quincy then get back on at George.

It'll take the same amount of time but much more scenic!

 

What time is everyone planning to roll in? Schedule says anytime between 7-10:30am....

 

If I remember correctly (which it's HIGHLY possible that I don't) I think TA was planning on rolling in around 8:30?

I don't really remember where I heard that... it's 2:45AM and I'm going to work now ugh.

 

I'll miss the paving, going thru the gorge and tri-cities, still plan on leaving from Multnomah Falls around 11 am, now time to wax on, wax off Danielsan, lol.

I can't wait!!! My car is all packed and ready to go, just have to pack my clothes and such (which won't be much)

 

i think i am going to wait on washing my car because by the time we all get there it is going to be so dirty plus i think we are all going to be able to wash our cars at the cabin right???? if not then i will hit some kinda car wash before the show.
