Other than the 5 days in the hospital when we first got here, it's been just fine.

The thunderstorms are awesome! I think I saw more lightning in 10 minutes than I have my entire life in Washington. Our house is amazingly huge, thanks to the equally amazing housing prices. I do have to say that the hot and humid weather sucks butt. We flew back to Seattle near the end of August to fix up our old house and to enjoy the cooler weather I'm more accustom too but there was freaking record setting heat and humidity! Figures.

I've been slowly accumulating an arsenal of winter weather clothes and boots. Everybody keeps warning me of the winter out here. I say "bring it"! If it's as bad as everybody is saying, they'd of moved away. That's my theory at least, lol.

We get some screwy looks when driving our xB (the xB is still in WA). No dirty looks so far but some finger pointing. I think I've seen only 10 or so xBs since living here. I waved at one guy and he looked way too excited to be waving back, lol. But there has been many people that stop us in parking lots and asks us about our car. A neighbor down the street even stopped me while driving and asked me about it.

Anyhow, things have been good. It's a refreshing change. The worst thing here is that there aren't espresso stands. Well, there is one but they make crappy coffee and isn't open past 1pm and closed on Sundays. WTH? There's an espresso stand in the next town over called "Seattle's Pride". I think I'm going to have to go there and call BS on them, lol.

Congrats on your second place Carl! I was following you through the parking garage on the way out and riding your butt so people wouldn't get between us. Trying to leave the parking garage was ridiculous.

Hey they were Benilda's huge shoes! I do remember haha B and I were hoping you got the picture haha!

it was really funny, Benilda and I have been hounding hubby to let me gogo with her but he's a poo about it. I love huge furry boots and cute outfits AND dancing.
