Fellow Pac NW Scion Lifer Needs Help With Tires
Hey everyone! I, myself had a flat tire yesterday and I brought it in to repair today and they told me it could not be done because of a big gash or something. They quoted me a brand new Yokohama s32a 215-45-17 for $325! This is too much money for me just for one new tire. My tread is going out soon so I need to replace all 4s soon and the tires that I am going to order are going to take a week to arrive. I am asking if anyone on here has an extra Yokohama s32a tire that I can borrow, buy off, or something to hold me down for a week or so. I commute every day to work on I-5 and I can't drive on the mustard yellow spare for over a week. Can someone please help me out? I appreciate it! Thank you in advance!
infamous- thanks for helping too! I am still looking for either a yokohama 215-45-17 s32a tire or a set of 4 stockies. Anyone that is close to Seattle, Renton, Bellevue, Auburn? If not, I might just contact Eric again. Thanks again guys!
I've got 3 of the Yokohama s32a's with about 5000 miles on them, but I'm down in Portland. I'd sell em for cheap, but doubt you'd want to drive that far.
I was in a similar situation, one of my tires was unrepairable so instead of shelling out $200 for a replacement, I bought all four new tires.

this is what is great about his community... someone asks for something and out of the closet comes Tu offering help... There will be a meet this Saturday at Steakburger in Vancouver. Maybe you could work out a delivery of some sort (providing you could hold out that long).
Whatever you do, don't just get 1 tire to replace it, especially if you're getting close to having to replace all 4 anyway.
Either get 2 tires to replace the opposite wheel in addition to the flat or just get 4 new ones. Uneven treadware = more tire problems

A big THANKS to Eric for his help with my tire situation. He is loaning me two of his stock tires until my new set comes in. Thank you Eric!!! Also, thank you to all that replied and offered help. Helping each other out through ScionLife is great! This is a great community! Thank you all!
