Default Finally it has arrived ...

So after six weeks of waiting the newest addition to project green has arrived. I would like to thank Matt Teske, Jenn (Avonladyjenn) and of course Troy and Scott from 5AD for getting this going so quickly.

But with out further waiting, the new wheels. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with advantage tire to get wheels mounted to these babies, then back to hiding in the garage for a week until the car is ready for these to be put on to.

So here is the story for the day, I will keep it rather short. I was told that the UPS driver would be there first thing in the morning. Which worried me since I had a final and wouldn't be home until late morning. So I got a call back from UPS saying that they would push the deliver back further in the day. I took that to mean like 1 or 2 PM. After sitting in my house staring out the window and jumping up and getting excited every time a diesel truck would drive up my street for seven hours. The UPS driver finally shows up at 10 minutes to 5. Seriously now, I have waited so long for these wheels and they take all day to deliver them.

Regardless I felt like a kid in a candy store when they came. haha.

Finally the UPS truck shows up

While transporting them down my driveway he almost drops one

Now he thinks I am an extreme creeper for taking his photo

Opening the first box

My first ever glimpse of my 5AD wheels

The wheels inside

The wheels outside

Emailing Troy and Matt to let them know the packages finally came

Update:

So the tires were mounted and we go to put them on the tC for fitment guess what. They barely clear under the front fenders and when we try to turn the wheel it rubs like a ****.

Plus someone at advantage tire wasn't thinking, because I flat out told them to check this. on all four wheels the directional tread is facing the same direction, which means that one half of the car will be right and the other half will be wrong.

So we are going to figure out what to do about the fitment issues, maybe go lower profile on the tires. IDK, but something is going to need to be done about the tread problem.

Ohh BTW, they looks sick on the car. Tomorrow or Friday depending on when I head back down there I will get some photos of them. They are killer.

225/40/18, the wheels are 18's with a + 35 offset. The car is sitting at stock height right now.
