Kirby that's a pretty low offset for the TC but might be OK if you went with a 225/35/18 I might even have gone with a 215/35/18 Get some streeeeeetch in there. And! If you are going to go with tein H techs you may have a problem.

 

agreed...something is wrong, Turner just put r6:f wheels on his, same offset and tire size and he's on H&R's no problem, no rolling...

but there is absolutely no reason to be rubbing on them right now

 

I will get some either tomorrow or friday, we took them off and recovered them to avoid scratchs.

But yeah, were rubbing on them. The next time I am down there I will play with it and see what we can do.

I am just ____ed that they put two of the tires on backwards. I even told the moron right before he started that two of them would need to be on the other way.

^that can be annoying. Gowider (Dan) has those in 19x8 on H-techs dosen't rub either.

 

Hmm ... what I am wondering is if I set the fender wrong. Coming to think about it the lines were a little off with the hood.

Tomorrow I will head down there and take the fender back off and then put it back on. Maybe that will help with this problem.

 

check to be sure the fender is lining up properly. i dont see any reason whatsoever to rub

Its rubbing on the front of the fender and I am going to be putting h-techs on there. It is just something that will come later on down the road.

 

On Htechs you should have no rubbing on 35 offset,check the rims and make sure they are the correct offset,we have 18x8 as well with htechs with 40 offset and could easily go out to 30 with no issue.

 

Yeah I was told OEM was 17x7 45 ET (offset) but I read that the OEM ET is 40. Still I guess either way should still be OK at 35 offset here is a link to a calculator. http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp

 

Hmm ... yeah, I am going to take the fender off and put it back on again. See if that fixes my problem.

I rubbed really bad with my 18x8 + 35mm offset, but I have coilovers now so I'm good, hopefully no rubbing for you cause it hurts to hear the sound
