Default Flood in Chehalis (NO 56k)

Yup it's flooding again. Go figure. For everyone that called me to see if I was ok as well as my work, Thank you! Everything is good, some people know that last year my building flooded, but we have since moved and all is well. But I am stranded at home, as there is about 4 inches of water over the highway as of right now.

My in laws are moving their bosses dump trucks and then coming up here because they can't get home so this should be interesting, but here are some pictures I took when my dad and I went to check on Austin moving trucks.. And also of the highway going to my house. It's closed a mile down the road or so as well, and apparently I5 is too..

Thanks guys! There is over a foot over the road now. They closed the highway I guess and there is water covering it from Chehalis to where I took the pics near where you turn for my house. This is gonna be ugly. The scary part is about every 10 minutes I can hear national guard helicopters flying over.

I'm staying on my hill!!!

Glad you are holding out OK, Will. You don't need a whole bunch of water damage again.

(Hope nothing happens to your power, either!)

Some of the lower streets here in U Place have some very minor flooding, but NOTHING like the problems you have down there right now.

yeah... this is real fun for the phone co too...... lost an oc192 in astoria/seaside/cannon bay oregon area, techs were sent home from the hoqium/aberdeen area around 10am cuz all the roads were blocked...

hell i worked saturday 12am-830am.... arizona was flooded and one point they said techs werent being sent out till like sunday cuz of snow storms in Arizona....

its amazing how many customer "help centers" have no clue whats going in the regions they handle...
saturday my center took 1220 calls..... from 12am-1159pm i answerd 10% of those on the grave yard shift... thats insane.... considering average calls a day is 300 +/-50

I would invest in a VW Bug and paddle tires, they do wonders on large bodys of water. just dont open the door untill you are on solid ground. Trust me on this
