if i could send some better weather i would. but if i send cold weather things will freeze and become ice skating rinks, and if i send sunny weather, snow will continue to melt and flooding wouldn't stop..

HOPE EVERYONE IS OK~ my mom (pizzabox) told me she is ok, and that she was amazed how well the box handles in the very strange weather you all are having.

stay dry!

hey so does that mean since the dealership has some flood water in it that they will be selling some cheap parts for cars, like a discount LOL

wonder how the truckstop @ mm-72 is doing?. and it looks like I won't be going home after I get to the yard... at least until the water goes down, or I have to go to Yakima then down to I-84 and back to PDX & south on I-5.... wife said that we lost some shingles in the windstorm... but said that the roofers have it under control... at least I hope so.

You have no clue how many looks we got from people going WTH are those people out driving in this stuff in a BENZ! We drive through more crap than most rednecks will take their 4wd's those, after all it's just a pickup! I will say the air suspension is badass as from the factory it allows you to raise it 3 inches. We went past the road block as we had to get medication to my grandma because its locked up otherwise she would OD herself. The 4 helo's that are out are busy medivacing people to the high school and hospital, its weird having the sounds of choppers flying over all the time. It's bad, this is the worse my Dad's ever seen and he's lived here almost 60 yerars (his whole life).

BTW I also added more pictures to my Flickr, Look up for links.

Also there is now a blog with information and pics;

Enjoy!

Oh man -

I was in Chehalis last night driving Tundras back to Portland from Seattle for Toyota Corp. and we got completely stuck at Exit 72 at the Shell station near the McDonalds that flooded! They had just shut down I-5 from Exit 68-82 and our only chance at getting back to Portland was attempting to drive the Tundras through the flood waters and get on the freeway illegally. (Should I be telling this since I was working for Toyota? LoL)

So we took our chances and slowly waded each of our 4 Tundras through the water. The water was so deep it was up past the bottom of our doors and slowly starting to sneak inside the cab! So scary! But we got through and onto the freeway just in time and were on the home stretch back to Portland.

Would have definitely sucked to get stuck in Chehalis for days on end!

Glad you made it Cynce. Well look on the bright side if you got stuck in Chehalis at least you would have known someone, and had a place to crash.

Just a note to those who need to go to PDX from Seattle (or vise versa)

take I-90 east to I-82 east (Yakima), then US-97 south to I-84 (Biggs JCT. ORE.),
and then west to PDX.
note !
check the weather as you have several mountain passes and high ridges to cross, as well as traveling the Columbia Gorge.(frequent high winds)

The total miles from I-405 @ I-90 to Biggs jct.or to jct of I-84 @ I-205 is 317 miles.
(VS 176 miles if you could just run down I-5 & I-205 )
