I was in a car accident friday night and I just wanted to tell everyone that when its raining to drive slow and buckle up.
We had slide into a telephone pole at about 50-55. and everyone is fine just bumps and bruises which is good.
I was sitting in the back right passenger seat and all is good.

Wow glad everything is fine. If you live in alaska be more careful ice is starting to accumlate on the road. NO summser driving for us alaskans

 

Curious... were the tires bald or something? Cause unless that was a really sharp corner or you guys were going a lot faster than 50-55, you should have been fine. Especially in a Subaru.

those tires are like noby winter tires and I have no clue what was going on I was sitting in the back seat texting and the next thing I know we are sideways heading towards the pole and the driver said to the cop that we were only going 35 but i know for a fact that we were faster then that

 

SLOW THE F DOWN........enough said........hope the owner enjoys driving a piece of junk for the next few years.......lucky no one was killed.....expecially the person sitting in that seat next to the pole.......hint hint.

 

Ya, chances are pretty good you were going a bit faster than 50-55 too. Not that you were driving, but as mentioned, people need to slow down.

Glad everyone is OK though.

 

thats why u dont try to drifting on wet roads unless you are in a wide open parking lot

Anyways glad your alright and everyone else is as well. Hopefully your buddy will learn his lesson. I would think twice about being a passenger in his ride if he doesnt learn from this!

On a lighter note! Did you at least give the pole your number being as you two seem to have been pretty well acquainted!

 

Mason, if you can get the pic I saw being passed around on cellphones Friday evening posted up, that would be good. Shows just how much serious damage was done to that car...

well brad we werent drifting this corner we did some that were before this. this one he just lost it and hit the pole

It's that time of the year, I have seen way too many crashes this early winter season. excess speed for existing road conditions being the main culprit .
