Smile Goodbye PNW

My workplace is moving me soon to Omaha, Nebraska so my time here in the PNW is coming soon to an end.

I just wanted to say I had a pleasant time up here hanging out with everyone and attending all the shows of previous years, along with the Olympia/Tacoma meet and greets. Everyone was very cool and I made a lot of good friends. I definitely enjoyed seeing everyone's cars all decked out.

Looks like Dustin will be the only xA in the crowd now. I'll be driving my xA to Omaha and hopefully will be able to find some cool people to hang out with there and will be able to represent.

Who knows, I may come back here to the PNW but for now, it's been a pleasure!

Cheers,
Tyrone

Don't worry about the snow, they de-ice the bejesus out of the roads. When I lived there, I had a 4x4 and never had to use it.

Good to hear, I was actually thinking about getting a AWD car for the winter but if they take good care of the roads then I can just stick with the xA and save some money.

Have a safe trip, once you get over the Rockies its flat from there on out, lol. Post up and let us know you made it and don't be a stranger in the forums. I'm sure you can access the PNW forums from a computer in Neb., if they have the internet there, lol.

When you leaving Ty.......I would love to hook up and have a beer or two before you go.......plus you gotta see Egplant in person before you go.

I am sad to hear you will be leaving,I really enjoyed your company and consider you a good friend....

Sad to see you go, Ty, but that's the way of the military (though I don't know how many subs they actually have in Omaha...).

Please drop in every now and then to the PNW forums and let us know how you are doing.

Take care!
Tom

We can all grab some dinner one of these nights before I leave. When is everyone free? I might actually just make it out to the Olympia meet and greet in March and just take off right after that. The movers are coming and taking all my stuff March 4th, so I was planning to start driving that afternoon but I can hold off for a day.

Tomas, there is no sub-base there however the US Strategic Command is there where I will be working at a desk job until my contract runs out.

Brian, I would love to see the Yaris one last time!

Sounds good Brian, I will call you sometime next week and stop by in the evening for a visit.

I will definitely make it to the Oly meet, then I will head on out.
