My issue with all of your comments is that Tim sold the car, and its not his anymore. They don't take the credit for what Tim did to the car but it is HER car now not Tims so why would they say that someone else put the money into it. They added the blow-off valve and took off the stickers. I dont appreciate people talking bad about others, especially since you are all so serious about respect. Mike is not making Amanda sell the car, its a personal choice so dont jump to conclusions. He has a very nice car himself. The two of them are great people and Im sure they wouldn't appreciate seeing what all of you have wrote about them. This is life, its just a car, its going to come and go like everyone elses. It wasn't a BuLL$hit move on anyones part, they didn't buy it just to sell it. They also arent ********.... Id appreciate people getting the facts before posting like crazy.

eh... to me i think its just the way the ad reads... and to those who knew the car's first owner... had they just said 'over 15k' added instead of 'we added...' it'd be less an issue... tho im sure people would still follow the car that they saw "grow up"...

oh well.. its theres to do with whatever... heck.. i'll pass it around to see if any1 i know may be in the market....

 

It's their car that they paid for to do what they want. But at the same time if I were an artist I'd be upset if someone took credit for my work. I don't know all the facts so I'll stop there. I didn't join SL to discuss semantics. I'm here to see cool a$$ modded Scions!

 

Appreciate the help with the sale. I knew Tim well but its not his car. Once you sell it you sell the title and you sell the ownership. I wouldnt post on a car that I bought "previous owner added 15K" they know who built the car just like the rest of us do, Its not a reason for being to call them names or say "It makes me sick" like they've done something terrible. Have some respect SL.

Im sad to see the car go but hope it stays in the area. Honestly I probably woulda jumped the gun and started saying things like the rest but after seeing Nick's response hes in the right.

Plus who knows maybe its just on craigslist as a feeler sell. Sometimes I like to tell people my cars for sale just to see what I could get :-) not like i could actualy part with it. I cant sell my car I put 1 million dollars into (mods/upkeep and gas) <-- the gas is where most of that 1 million dollars went to (JOKE BTW)

Anyways back on to topic. Hopefully it goes to another person who will appreciate its beauty

They really are selling the car, its not a feeler sell.. And yes I agree 100% with what Melissa said.

I'll post as WDS it's all about WDS's created baby.

I take a lot of pride in building that car up myself, but I sold it and it's theirs to do with as they wish... I let it go knowing what I accomplished with it, and all it brought me from Scion and my lovely friends around here... I'm not invested emotionally in where it goes now... I did my thing, it lived an awesome life, and I'm on to the next challenge... which is just the life of the car...

I even told them they could resell it and probably sell it for more than I sold it to them for, as they were part of XS and got a killer deal, so it's all good from that side.

In the end, we all know the deal... Cars are Cars, our work will always be our work to those who know, and to us ourselves, and I'll always be proud of what I did with my dad, and no matter where the car goes we all know where it came from.

Thus the end of this thread... WDS out for good.
