Default hey wus happenin pnw brudahs.

hey guys. just wanted to check in and say hi to all my peeps. i know i havent been active as of late. been going through alot these past few months. good stuff though. im going to school full time now studying autobody collision repair, restoration and painting

and i got my old job back at precision cast parts so the rest of the day i have free after school is spent at work but luckily i got the hours and days i wanted so my weekends are left pretty free. even though i only get in 25 hours a week its still a job ya know? but fortunately i got my nasty dent in my fender fixed, replaced with two brand new front fenders, blend painted, my wheel well liners replaced, engine bay detailed, and my scion pro xgangster sun visor installed. oh and all my windows tinted. including my windshield. looks S.A.F.

ive been doing a few projects on the xb here and there. ive got a few suprises up my sleeve, as well as a fog machine install ill be doing very soon which REALLY brings out the lasers. did i mention i have three now? also chauvet lighting recently came out with some blue laser modules and once i save up enough im going to do a custom rear hatch pannel and mount 2 of the blue lasers there along with some fiberglassing and extra speakers and stuff. again the only thing holding me back is $$$. the new lasers are 220 a pience. once i get a few more good pics of the car im going to re submit a sponsor ship proposal to Chauvet. maybe when they see my car at actual DJ and rave events theyll be more interested.

ive been DJing at alot of rave parties lately with my event staff North West Dub Collective and ive had my ride on display a couple times and last weekend in salem we put a fog machine in my car and it looked effin amazing. so im doing that pretty soon.

unfortunately i dont have alot of money atm so doing any major mods will have to wait till next year when we go crazy in custom fabrication class (insert epic wink here) im hopin to get a set of 19" TSW silverstones when the summer hits and im lookin to pick up a set of DF210s pretty soon since the option of coilovers went bye bye.

and then any spare time i have left is spent with my girlfriend. shes amazing.

anyways its been a while since weve all chatted so lets here some of the stuff you peeps have been up to. dont worry if its long i wanna hear havent spoken to you guys in ages!!!!

Would be cool if you could make it, would love to see the progress on the car, I think I only got to see it once last year, hope to see ya around more this year. I also plan on getting rid of my DF210s if you're interested, plan on going with racelands here hopefully soon... Or possibly trading lefty for his Sprints.

I'm waiting for weather to clear up so I can give it a good detailing. It needs a lot of clay barring, buffing, back to black compound and wax. I also have some other stuff to get before I'm ready for a full on photo shoot but its coming, this summers show season is goin to be epic. Right now my next mod is going to be my fog machine instal.

Nocturnal ya man ill take your df210s. Depends on how much you would want for them. I would get racelands as well but I just can't afford them right now. If I'm going to get coilovers I want the best stuff or nothin ya know what I mean?
Anyways ill see what's happening for the pizza run but that's kinda far for me.

I need to find a good detail shop in the south end.

I feel kind of bad cuz my Darkness looks a little unloved right now and needs a good pro job

I am hoping to get the tints done soon and (cross your fingers) rims/tires. But I am trying to save as much as I can. I really want to get some stuff done so I can show.

The other thing that I am looking at is some tech. Prolly going to get the remote start kit that controls through my iPhone. I could prolly get that done soon as well. Need to find someone I can trust to do the work and do it right ya know.....

Yeah I may be getting my new wheels and tires soon. I want my TSW silverstones.... going 19 inch this time around with an aggressive offset. This B is gonna look mean.

I hope your tint comes out better than mine did its okay but i have alot of small bubbles here and there. There small enough you can't see them unless you look close but still. I paid 250 bucks for my tint job. And I'm not to impresses with the darkness level. Its okay and looks good and all but I eas really hoping it would be darker. I told them match the rear tint.

As for a detail job I hear ya. Gonna cost ya though. Me personally I just go in there clay bar it as I wash it. Get it really good and clean inside tue wheel wells along the frame rails. Little brush for the grills. Hand dry it. Then go in there with some 205 compound get those minor scratches and scuffs out. Get some polish on there and some swirl mark remover. dont press hard on the buffer and keep your RPMs low but not to low and don't go all wide open. Then when your all done go over it with some nice wax and BAM car looks awesome.

I will say though dont buff it with compound to much inless you absolutely need to. And use 205 only. 105 will work but our factory clear coat is really thin compared to what we get at a body shop and 105 is pretty coarse. You buff it enough times and you'll burn through it.

I've learned all this in body shop class. Oh yeah tap off your door jams and all your gaps and plastic parts. Edg

*edges are the easiest thing to burn through straight down to the metal. And if you get thay white compound into the blaci plastic it wont come out.

Hence the need for a pro job this time around......

I don't worry about basic washes. But with the weather being the way its been, I haven't been able to get out and wash her for a couple weeks. She is going to be looking really unloved tomorrow at the coffee meet up. Hopefully everyone can forgive me.

I don't know the first thing about giving her the care that she needs, That is why I got on here and started talking to all you folks.
Maybe we can get together and someone can teach how to care for her without it costing me an arm and a leg.

I hear ya on the tint job though. I am doing some serious shopping. I won't take risks on my baby...... I just won't.

I may end up paying a little more for a top notch job. But I am ok with that.
And I want to go DARK........

I didn't nick her My Darkness for nothing ;P
