No.... HIN is a supershow and only the big dogs, or guys who blow a ton of money come away with awards generally... it's a tough place to win with a regionally shown car...some people, like the white box, actually travel and hit every HIN....
Thus, why some other shows are more fun for the less modded owners out there...
It's hard to live all trailer queeny...

ll about representing with a good crew for me now... some killer cars and we (XcessiveSpeedz) and Team Menace will be the biggest ones I believe... What is the number of cars for project one coming, RB, you know? I know they have some killer cars too!
Scion Mild is a tough category to compete in and should be interesting to see what happens. Im sure Dave isnt the only one with things up his/her sleeves.

Team Menace is the monster up at HIN seattle. We'll be the second largest with around 15-20... and, I believe, as a result, get a really nice location in the front building.
XcessiveSpeedz is a rapidly growing Portland team, and has some really nice rides... Now they get two Scions... Mine, which is well on it's way, and Nicks, which by next spring will be a monster as well...
Some of the nifty ones....

Dave is always doing something, along with me mod wise... I'm not going to have a crazy amount new by next friday, but will all my guages set up and such nicely. it's my first HIN, so I'm going to see how the judging and such works, and not betting on a win, but would enjoy one of course...
My display is hopefully going to be much nicer than in the past... so should be fun...
Seems MoSpeed and Project One slowed a bit, but there are some awesome cars in those teams as well!

Yep.... Dave/I/You and probably rockblocker are all mild... And the White box is wild....
My money is on Dave for Mild Win (with a reservation of hope for me)... as he's already won in the category in LV against some nicely done cars.... his is just a beast and still modding away from what I hear with things I haven't seen... I may have a chance, but it's all judges IMHO on that one...
From what I read in my NCCA rulebook, they really take close looks at the specific modifications and quality of mods.... - For Instance, Coilovers get many more points than Springs, FI more points than NA, Leather, than others, Catback more than axleback... etc... so, you really have to go all out money wise to get the most points... and display is part too.
Tough show and I look forward to seeing it in action and seeing my points sheet for reference on improvements for next year. (This show you get your points sheet)

I wonder what they classify as mild or wild, but either way i'm just going to have fun I wasn't expecting a win from this either due to the fact that there is going to be a lot of competition there..

I'd have to bring out my rule book... Engine swaps/ Headlight swaps/ Shaved Doors / Widebody / etc... are wild modifications
Here's how they work
Mild (Conservative) NCCA
Unlimited Mild Modifications
and
Up to 4 wild Modifications
Wild (Extreme) NCCA
Unlimited Mild Modifications
and
Between 5 - 10 wild Modifications
Good Article Here as well....
