umm i totally forgot about this event up until monday when someone reminded me it was this weekend... so umm... anyone thats going got a place that i could crash like saturday night.

I was severanced out of my old job.... , and it paid well... I'm almost in the door on my new job... just waiting on some internal processes...

The flooring is from another XcessiveSpeedz guy, so I got a cheap price on it... Retails at like 450 for the setup... I can't stop modding EVER... Still going stage one soon, plus doing audio/paint/body this winter as well... she's going to be a BEAST by next year... and if this job checks out, I won't have to drive her to work, so she'll be better for all the paint work... and not chipped from DD.

 

There is a self service car wash in Federal Way about 20 miles south of Seattle. Exit 142B on I5
then turn right on to pacific highway (there is a chevron on the corner 2nd light after you get off the freeway)
the self service car wash is on the right about a half mile down the road.

This is the Pacific North West it always rains so people don't wash cars as often as they do in other parts of the country.

if your in the fed way area... if you get off at the 320th street exit off of i5 (sorry dont know the #) go west to pac hwy/99
go north(right off of 320) on 99.. a couple lights up is a pink elephant car wash... they have coin up DIY or drive thru... plus vacuums etc... it'd be on your right, next too cartoys

Pink elephant on 320th is exit 143. There may be a lot of traffic because this goes right by the mall and it seems to always be packed. The one I mentioned is right off the freeway but usually empty, it also has vacuums.

$30 to show or also $30 to get in?



How early is insanely early, anyway?

 

Actually it was almost $60 to show and i think it's $25 to get in.

 

Admission is $30 at the door and $3 off if you have the flyer.
Online tickets are only $25.

 

so HIN was cool..... lots of nice cars....

my fav was either the Spoon Fit or the turbo'd S200 in the back. I just liked the whole look of that car.

 

wish I coulda went this year first one I missed since being in WA

 

I had fun... tired. Blah!

 

You all suck. While you guys were out having fun at HIN, I got salesmanned (word? lol) into magazine subscriptions by two friendly door-to-door people trying to earn a trip to somewhere.. then had to call the company to cancel, only to learn they don't do by phone, by mail only.. so had to mail it out. Then went out for a drive and watched a woman back into a fence made of thick logs.. then as she pulled away, saw that she already had that same back end of her SUV taped up.. as if she'd done that many times before! It made me laugh.

Then later I went and bought some oil to put in the Civic because there was none in it.. after I finished, I started her up, let her run 5 minutes, then drove her one block down to go to a friend's apartment.. put her in park and then got the sh*t scared out of me as I saw smoke coming from her.. I can't tell you how fast I pulled the key out and jumped out of her! She is in bad shape and I guess she's burning oil really bad.. cold engine, all the smoke comes out the exhaust (lots of it) and when it's warm, it comes from the engine and the exhaust. Again.. a lot. So she's parked on the curb on the other side of the neighborhood because I don't know what to do with her.
