I had been without my car since Saturday, and i want to drive it. I had to leave it at the dealership because my brakes have been sqeaking very bad and everytime i took in the car ti would never make the sound. So i had to leave it so the techican could drive it around. On top on the noise my stupid sunroof got stuck open. I just my car fixed so i can start driving.

 

That sucks! what dealership did you take it to? How many miles on your tC? It is hard to be without “your” car. Hope you get it back soon.

 

Did they give you a rental?

 

I took it to Doxon Toyota in Auburn and no they did not give me a rental. Iam driving my husband speed racer. i only have 23miles on it. Come to find out the dealership is replacing my front/rear brakes. Free to me. So iam stump on this.

 

haha, that reminds me when i had my tC, the sunroof always got stuck open in the Albertsons parking lot in Bothell. I don't know what it was, happened everytime.

Just wanted to let everyone know that i got my car back. Iam so happy to be driving it again. I really did not like driving my husband's car. But they replaced front/back brakes as well as the rotors for me. No charge to me .

Did they just do break pads and roters or other stuff too? How many miles on your tC?

 

They change the brakes and rotors. I only have 23,333 miles on my car.

 

So is that calipers and everything? wow that’s crazy. Did they say what caused it?

When I had my Mitsubishi I use to have to change my pads and rooters every 15k miles, but that was my fault cuz I use to drive crazy down in Cali. I had to “pay to play”

 

They something about glazing the pads and shims were dry. Who really knows. I sent my husband so they can explain to him and he got did not ask so i don't know why it happened.
