Cindy, I'm hoping so too!!

The scary thing about my car is that it has a lot of airbags,... I'm scared that it'd more likely kill me than save me.

Dont worry - it'll get fixed. I got into an accident 2 days after my 21st birthday that resulted in:

But after I got the insurance money, I got THIS back from the shop:

My advice - get a quote from the dealer (because it will USUALLY be higher than most shops) and then that it to a trustworthy shop to get repair + upgrades for the same price as the repair at the dealer. ;)

The officer said that I have more right of way than her but that I just need to be more careful when doing maneuvers like that. She's the one getting the ticket in the mail. OF COURSE I'LL BE THERE RAINE! I MISS YOU!!! Bring cupcakes please! :D

So, spoke to my father, I think I can only go to a dealership because my dad is still doing payments on the car.

sorry that happened to your tC. mines been hit twice while it was parked. first time was dented up door+broken door speaker. the old guy was afraid of his rates going up so he paid outta pocket. so i took it to a place where they charged a lot. and they said 1000. went to my buddy and got it done for 500 pocketed 500. second time i just went the legit way. but the body shop did something really dumb and was afraid i was gonna sue so they wrote me a 500 dollar check.

I know my time is coming soon. In the past month I had 3 near-misses: one where an inattentive driver ran a red light and nearly collided with the driver-side of my car (that would've hurt A LOT), another where the driver facing me at an intersection where I was turning left decided to turn right into the path of my car, and finally, a driver who failed to check his blind spot before he changed into my lane and nearly side-swiped me (I was able to swerve into the shoulder in time), All of these happened while I had my cast on (ie. if someone wrecked me, I'd still get cited and my insurance probably wouldn't pay up).

Bad drivers go away

Awwww Leslie! Easy way to upgrade is the positive side! But will a dealership do that? Btw for you and your bf's injuries you HAVE to go to the doctor to get any $ back. I THINK I got double my doctors cost from mine. That was over 2 years ago so can't really remember. But it depends what insurance you have.
But I will see you friday FINALLY!

EWWW! Your poor baby car!!! (If you keep driving it looking llike that, you'd fit in just fine with the rest of the cars around here..... ha ha!) Hope that lady's insurance agrees to pay up 100 percent. I had an accident in my Quest van a few years back when I was pulling out of a parking space and an old lady in a Bronco decided to back right into my rear quarter-panel before I had a chance to react. Her insurance company decided I was 20 percent at fault because I didn't start honking (as if honking at old people helps) and my insurance has a $500 deductible so it cost me some out of pocket for the repairs and rental car. (Her insurance company dropped her.)

On the bright side, it's better to have crumples in your bumper than in your body!!! Go to the chiropractor to make sure you're all aligned.

The car can be fixed but you need to make sure you and your BF are ok. Sometimes injuries don't really start bothering you till days or weeks later. Please go to a DR and get totally checked out. Better safe then sorry. I was in a fender bender once and thought I was ok then a week later I started haveing problems but nothing really bad.
It wasn't till years later I had to have surgery on my neck and they had to fuse it. I learned never to assume I'll be ok and if in an accident I will get myself checked out fully before settleing with any insurance company.

There is no point in taking it to the dealership. They will not fix it. You have to take it to a body shop. It doesn't matter if you are making payments or not. If you have any questions PM me and i can help you through the process.

So sorry to hear about and see your poor car and you! I hope you both get better soon.

I saw a beautiful plum tC at the Safeway near U Village last night at like 3:45pm, as I left the parking lot. Yours will be back to looking great when you get it fixed, maybe even better if you get mods out of the deal :D

Hang in there, accidents suck!
