Default I'm out of car craziness

Howdy all... I've read up here and there, but am altogether out of the world of cars really.

Almost all my weeks are spent at the mission, as I'm now working as a full time chaplain there and working with a group of guys each week, as well as running the evening ministry with the meal, chapel, and co-ordination of getting 110 guys in bunks and mats. It's insanely fulfilling and challenging, but there's nothing like it, not even plastic trophies can compare!

Anyways, I've sold the S2K and am running nothing! The wife still sports her xB, but I'm a no car guy. Amazing, Huh?

Yawn... too much craziness last shift... G'night and have a good thanksgiving! - I'll be at the mission all day.

Yeah Yeah.... LoL... Thinking about a volksrod setup some day... similiar to that of one of your T/A north guys with his bug at Bond of Bellevue, but done up even further and more along the traditional volksrod setup with extended front end, etc...

I have a bug in storage I can work on, just no time... priorities, priorities... something I didn't have back in the day

That was blake. He keeps talking of building a true rat rod as well.

You ever go to Volksrods.com?

Sorry to hear that you got rid of the S2k, but you're doing a good thing and there will always be time for cars right

I may see you at pdxmas

Yep... I have it all planned out... going to wait for 6 months almost for sure.

'68-'74 standard bug
6-7 inch chop on the top
Extended front End 8 inches forward / 2 inches dropped.
Suicide Doors
Wire Wheels / Big!
A Real Engine Rebuilt/Tune
Stripped Interior/Lightened Everywhere

Probably going to get close to this, or at least try to:

Dang man, sad to see the S2k gone, really clean build.

Though I think Chris will agree the VW side of life is nice...

Good luck, happy holidays
