Default Local Car Show Results........

So I participated in a small local car show today. THere was about 10 cars in all. Suppose to be almost 20 but a good amount cancelled on account of the rain. There were some really nice cars and a few not so quite nice ones. I'll post pics later but I took Best in Show. w00t!! Was kinda surprised since they had a car there that participates AND takes trophies at HIN. Guess it had to do with the people's choice aspect of this show. Everyone got a vote and you couldn't vote for your own car. So I got a nice trophy/plaque and a $50 gift cert to the local shop that sponsored the show.

I have never shown before and small shows would probably be best for me to start with.

Any ideas of what is coming that I should try?

Can this list be put in the PNW events?

And this one was not posted anywhere because I found out about it THursday night and reg'd Friday morning. I took the last spot they had. The only reason we ended up with less is because of the rain.....alot of poeple didn't show because of it. Not like it rained hard. It only sprinkeld a little here and there.......

And the reason it wasn't posted on forums is because the guy who set it up is a bike guy. This was his first year for introducing cars to his bike shows. I gave him my name and number as well as this sight for a good starting point for pormoting his next show......

It was the Days of Cars and Bikes show. Partially put on by Extreme Auto Salon in Federal Way. Supposedely Kube was suppose to be pimping this for the last 2 weeks but I hadn't heard a word and my radio rarely leaves Kube. My girlfriend said she heard the promo for it this afternoon when she was heading that way to the show after her job.

I post all the shows I know about that can handle them. I just got the flyer for Festival Days today at the Show and heard about the Queen Anne Show from word of mouth. I found the site but no word on when this years show is.

The $50 was a gift cert to Extreme Auto Salon towards parts/labor so I am going to check out their work on my ride. Something simple and easy. Going to get hood pins for my CF hood. Just see it bouncing and wobbling to much at higher speeds.

No need to put down a shop that does good work. They had 3 cars there that they customized and one places HIN. If you have issues, please keep them to yourself unless someone is asking for opinions on the shop. No need to fill this thread with hate.

Then please do not make comments like that without reason or need.

Dustin, apparently I cannot make a post to let people in teh area know about a local show's results without having it turn into issues. Can you please lock or delete this thread. No need to have this turn into a flame war.
