Default looking for an apartment

Howdy peeps. I have been looking online but figured i would ask my fellow PNWesters if they knew of any places in the surrounding seattle area. i am lookign for a place where i can catch the bus to downtown seattle. I dont want to be more than a 20 min drive. Preferabbly north of downtown or in downtown somewhere. Is Queene anne or Capitol hill nice areas. Dont know seattle neighborhoods very well. Just know Northgate and up fairly well. Looking to spend no more than about 750 a month.

Thanks

If you are looking for a young and lively area, I would suggest Fremont, Ballard, or Capital Hill. As for keeping your car in good safe condition Fremont or Ballard. Queen Anne is pretty good to, West Seattle is nice as well.

You won't find anything for less than $800 unless it's a studio! Obviously the farther you go out the cheaper it gets. I was paying $650 for a studio on Queen Anne 18 months ago. I had to park on the street! That's why my poor RS4 has dents and dings all over her now. I just saw that the same place is now renting for $795! If you can afford a mortgage find a condo. Condo's FTW!! With the economy the way it is prices are going way down! Who needs to live in FL when you can be up here in this freezing a** cold weather!

Wedgewood was a really nice area! Just SE of Lake City, NE of University Village. When it clears up B & I can show you. Her & her brother were paying $850/month for a 2-bedroom...

If you want something up north near a Seattle-bound bus, there's a few park and rides with apartments close by...

1. Brand new PNR at 112th and I-5 in Everett
2. Ash Way PNR just west off the 164th St exit in Lynnwood (apartments I think just across the street)
3. Go up 164th a little further west (up the hill) and there's Swamp Creek PNR with apts right there.
4. Lynnwood Transit Center at 200th/46th has apartments all over the place (but might not be the greatest neighborhood)
5. McCollum PNR just E of I-5 off the 128th St exit has some apartments up the street (Dumas Rd)
6. 44th Ave W in Lynnwood has tons of apartments and Seattle commuter buses serve the whole stretch of it from 168th to 200th.

That's all I can think of right now... buses: its what I do.
