Mo & I have been upset that we have yet to get snow this year. We hoped and crossed our fingers...and sure enough...around 3 am it started snowing here. Now up to 2 inches.

And with all the local school districts either closed or on late start he'll get the day off (regardless of if they close his school because I made an executive decision).

Who else is getting a snow day today out there? Whatcha gonna do today if you are stuck at home?

I got a snow day at work But I had a nice long 4 day weekend so I'm really happy to be back and have stuff to do!

But oh my gosh I'm so happy about the snow too! YAY!!!!

 

No snow day for me. Just more work since people will now be home watching TV, using the internet, and talking on the phone. All products that I get to fix if broken.

Snow day for me after being on the 159 going up Kent Des Moines hill around 6am and jack knifed mid way

 

yeah for snow day...... i already had the day off since i worked this weekend..... so 4 day week for me.....finally....

 

i have mondays off anyways so today it snowed here but the snow if melting away now, roads are clear.

 

No snow day here either! Of course we have to be open on the dot for the people waiting outside to come in and cash their $5 check. I don't know how they would have made it through the day without it!!!

Took me 30 mins to travel what normally takes 10 mins. But I made it!! Now I'm scurred for tomorrow!!

Nothing at our house, but once I headed to Beaverton on the 26, I hit some. It was pretty to see.

 

booo for work... yeah for carpooling wife.... work wanted me to come in today but no car and bus woulda takin for ever....
then they call again askin if i want to start early tuesday.... hmmm

 

the south end is clearing up right now...i hope its decent tomorrow so i can transport my other car.

word of advice if it snows tomorrow. do not add wax or offer to make a ramp the same as you did when you were a kid. it hurts. yes sitting on a rubber sled with a very slick bottom and adding car wax to it makes it go a bit faster. heck even without the wax it still goes fast
