i'm well aware of that except if you read my post it said i was in my integra...which i turbo'd and had plenty of power to get to that speed....

 

U didn't say anything about u driving ur teg.. Just says u were driving but not in ur teg.. And all u said was club teg.. So I assumed u were in ur tC.. Anyways .. Weaksauce on the meet..

 

lol i was on the same page as you, I got all lost like did i miss the integra part?! and I think you are right, tc's usualyl max out at like 127 or 128 on final drive gear.

Sounds like the meet was pretty intense!!

 

really? never did go past 100mph in my old tC

 

i did it a couple times back in the day and my car was completely stock lol, definitely don't plan on doing that again anytime soon unless its on the drag strip :D

 

The ms3 is governed at 155mph. I have yet to go past 130mph.

 

i barely can ever see 100 to 110 lol

 

i've hit 110 before in the box but it was kinda sketchy.

 

Took Egplant to the limiter........open road.......late at night.......took forever to hit it though,handled well with no noticable float to the car at speed.

 

122...405...racing a Maxima...he chickened out...not proud of it tho...nuff said

in my last car i got it up to 130, this car i haven't gone much over 100. Like dodaddy said, I will never do this again unless it's on the track 'cause none of my cars are designed or made to handle those speeds safely plus it's not safe on the highways anyhow so like kanchi said - i'm not proud of it lol

 

well....super sucky about the meet, i had my car topped out the other week at 122 flat out, only limited by the rev limiter, was messing with an 89' escort, the ONLY time i have ever done anything stupid like that in the box, actually, since my old street racing days....needless to say i backed off cause i dont like running to red and the escort took off, still had atleast half of 4th gear to go, i used to have one i know.....sad for him tho, cause if he doesnt know about it, the head gasket always leaks on to the serpintine timing belt....oil + serpintine belt = busted timing belt.... busted timing belt + 89 escort engine = bent rods........first hand exp

 

I hope that this does not discourage the new people that did show to the meet from coming again...just hope next time we can all chill & not have any issues
