i have an 08 premium deck and it stopped working after i installed fog lights???? it worked for a drive to the store and then when i turned the car back on nothing not even lightsin the deck. i checked all the fuses and they are all good anyone know what could be the cause??

 

did you check the fuse ON the deck? could be that. adding fogs really shouldnt cause a surge BUT cars are weird and sometimes things like that happen.

 

no fuse on the deck unless its internal unplggued and replugged everything still nothing><

 

no i think hes talking about the fuse block under the left hand side of the dash. check all of those. does your lighter work?

 

no i meant the one on the deck, but if there isnt one (and that is strange) then there isnt one. is everything else working? dome, city lights, cig lighter.

^Lame, did you hard reset the battery? you might want to try that and see if it helps.

 

i dont think any of the stock decks have a fuse.

 

i thought mine did, seems strange to me because they have a built in amp. have you used a voltage meter to see if you have power at the deck? if not then you blew a fuse someplace. not sure if the 08's are the same wiring as the 07's but this might help.

yeah well the day it died on me i checked the fuses under the kick panel and my friend checked relay under the hood and he said they were all good...........
