actually the permit i think is for the whole group!! 25-30club/forums were listed on the permit (if i read correctly)

so yes they are expecting about 200'ish or so cars...

We are meeting at one place (272nd p&r)

this event normally draws about 150ish cars... but with the increased push this year hoping for 200+

You can type "NW TOY RUN" into Google and see how much internet chat is going on about this event.

Erik (Kanchi) or Ariane (CLAPhoto)...can we use either of your Fred Meyers?

Toys 'R Us & Targets have told us 'no' on doing this in front of their stores.

I'll see if I can catch up with HR or the store director and I'll get back to you.

No luck. I talked with our human resources manager and she said that Bill (store director) would probably say no because it interferes with their own fundraisers/charity/etc.. so I'm not sure. Maybe Red Robin on a Friday/Saturday night when they're really busy? We have one right across from Fred Meyer. Otherwise, we have a coupon for 10% of toys I think so I will go get some more.

I officially now have 12/9 off for this.

It took a LOT (when I couldn't get 2 coworkers to cover my shifts, I put in a formal day off request to the boss who "asked" they work 12 hour shifts to cover me....and by 'formal day off request' I mean 'begged in an email') and everyone at work will hate me for it for a few months, but whatever, I get to finally indulge in one of my hobbies: roadtrip (okay, Fed Way to Olympia isn't THAT far...but Olympia is far enough from Bellevue. dig?)

LOL! I just thought this was funny because I make an 1.5 hour commute 3-5 times a week during rush hour to see my boyfriend in Port Orchard. Most of the time I take the ferry now but it still takes me anywhere from 45mins to an 1.5 hours just to get to west seattle. I guess thats where my 120,000 came from in the past 4 years - all my crazy quick trips to places.

Anyways ill probably be at the toy run tho im kinda broke and i hate showing up with just one or two toys. but hey its better than nothing. I remember my parents being in a tight spot when i was growing up and they never showed it tho cuz there were always the toys i wanted under the tree.. hopefully i can help bring a smile to a kids face this year :-)
