Default Not as witty as Erik...

Some of you may remember the Christmas Jingle Erik wrote. I'm not nearly as Witty and a little too angry to see straight, I walked down to my brand-freakin-new car at a little before 5am already running a little late to find...

Don't worry, you can click em to make them bigger.

Things someone APPARENTLY needed more than I did:
a 350 cd book filled with CDs, the last two pages with DVDs and psychonauts my favorite game for playstation (wanted it for 360 anyway, jerks) and YES I am apparently one of the only idiots that still buys each and every CD. As motivation to quit smoking I told myself I could get a CD every other week, it's dropped off since the book was about full but, yes it's all gone. And the real son of a poo about it? I had this happen to me a few years ago with my first tC and they stole all my CDs so I've been slowly rebuilding my collection.
My DVD player COME ON! I USE THAT!!!!!!
Eriks brand new set of snap on blue point tools, including a full ratchet set, wrench set, and a torx spit set. Thanks JERKS he had that in the car because we where going to use it to go fix my step moms car today. Why, WHY would you take that? Thats the only freaking ratchet he has other than his air set. HES A MECHANIC YOU JERKS HE NEEDS THAT!!!!!!
My fancy sunglasses that I finally shelled out 300 bucks for because they looked THAT good on my face They don't look as good on you PLEASE give them back
oh And my window, thank-you-very-flippin-much for shattering my window so it scratched my paint and then rubbing it around so it ruined my custom leather seats THANKS REALLY!!!!!

And you guys do this the day before Valentines day, are you kidding me? Now instead of going out to a nice dinner we will be sitting at home for our first valentines day and our one year anniversary on Saturday as well, thanks guys, really. Not like we where going to do anything nice for each other or go out to a nice dinner even, no worries the money to pay the deductible was just sitting there waiting around for nothing. AND the Grey tC isn't really in daily driver condition and it's stored so now we have one usable car between us, so thanks for the day off work right after I got a raise, appreciate that too not like I need the money or anything. A-holes.
I'm mad, not a little mad I'm really mad.

Stupid jerks.

You're probably going to have to somehow prove some of the stuff was in the vehicle. Ever since people started claiming that high end cameras, ipod, laptops...etc...have been stolen when they haven't, they've been pretty tight about that kind of stuff. Hope it all gets sorted out, I'm in the middle of dealing with insurance as well.

Progressive claim rep here:

(unless Washington's insurance policy is significantly different)
Any loose items, anything not bolted to the car, will not be covered by your policy. All that stuff would need to be covered by your home owner's/renter's policy.

I can't tell you how many people's day I've ruined with that statement.

yeah this is the SECOND time so it really makes me mad and it's right before Valentines day and my anniversary which means we get to do nothing, but we can pay our deductible. Woo.

I don't think someone did it as something against me, I don't really have any enemies and I think I'm a pretty good person all in all, I live by a trail and I usually park my car on the other side of my building instead of on the trail side because this happened to our 86 not too long ago... but Erik picked up thai food on his way home last night and forgot to get the sauce for the eggrolls and chopsticks, so I said I'd run out and grab them (the Thai restaurant is like 10 minutes away tops) and when I got back that was the only place to park.

Stupid stupid green river trail. I moved here because it was so pretty and I could go running on it and it goes forever right along the green river and by the golf course and all that... APPARENTLY someone uses the trail for something else.

I constantly ruin people's day, but what is worse is when I have to get the state police involved for insurance fraud and potentially ruin people's lives.

In this case, better to know what's coming rather than think the claim rep is trying to pull anything.

I am super sorry to hear this. People suck! And as usual nobody saw a thing, right? Most of the time (around here anyway) It's kids who's parents don't care where their kids are. I'm sorry to say that they don't care about about others stuff. They just don't think about it.

I guess it's time for a PSA: Even though your kids will get mad, Show then you love them by knowing what they are doing.

I've been told I was crazy for always parking my car in the grage every night AND having a two-way remote so I can keep track of it even when I can't keep an eye on it.

I was the same way with my last one frosty

And yeah I talked to my progressive rep, and as I already suspected anything not mounted isn't covered, oh well. The DVD player is covered though I was afraid it wouldn't be so at least I get that part, woo.

Trying not to be so grumpy about it, it sucks, being mad isn't going to get me anywhere though unfortunately.

I just wish I knew tomorrow was going to be a better day, unfortunately tomorrow is going to be a big ol let down too.

So sorry to hear Allie, hope the day gets better for you. Why can't people leave others things alone. Check the local pawn shops, some of the things may end up there.

man that sucks. glad they didn't commit anything worse though to make the car non-drivable. i pray that everything will work out right for you and whoever did it does have it coming back tenfold. keep your head up and remember that while you guys may not have the dream v-day or anny, you two will be together for it. it's bad, but not as bad as it could be.
