adorian. damn sorry to see that the lame ___ punk couldn't afford to buy the stuff rather they have to steal from your car. hope someone does this same thing to them only worse.

from this point forward please make back up copies of your CD's using a burner. you are allowed to do that under copy right laws. keep the originals in the house. use you computer to make back up copies. normal cd player and a burner. now you can only have one back up copy at a time. this is to keep from getting into copy write stuff. but will save you time and money in the long run. also the crook can't sell the burnt copies. learned this when my toyota pick got broken into. took two of my cd cases with about 150 in one case and 200 in another case. value lost around 2,000 or so dollars. now told me friend to make copies of his cd for back ups. his car got broken into lost only his case. total lost of CD's 50 dollars. but easy to replace about 8 hours worth of work and 10 buck for the cd case and 20 bucks for the new cd and about 10 or so dollars for the CD label paper.

I should get the label paper... then I can print it up so it looks like the real CD ish...

I have back ups of a LOT of my music (because I like to use it on my ipod for running) but it's the few CDs I never backed up that really irk me and the mixed CDs I made for cruising the Beach with my friends in Guam, or the first CD Erik made me when we got together. The things that have real true sentimental value that you can't put a price on that I won't get back because some jerk wanted them. And they will probably just end up in the garbage somewhere.

Police came and dusted for prints, took the few CDs that the guy took out of the CD case and threw around my car and is gonna do the fancy super glue thing they do to get finger prints off of stuff like that and give it his best. Car is now at the shop and she's sad

Insurance guy just called and I will say this PROGRESSIVE ROCKS! I'm so glad I have them. I don't have the receipt for my in dash and they are just maxing out the amount and cutting me a check so we can get a new one and do the install ourselves, they are getting me a new drivers seat because there is a teensy tiny scratch in it, they didn't even argue with me over it AND they are re painting my interior pieces color matched to the Black Sand Pearl because it got scratched up when jerk hole ripped out the DVD player. They are also doing a full proffesional detail on the car, replacing the inside door panel because there are a few scratches on it (I didn't even notice them they're so small) AND they are going to fix the few scratches on the outside by repainting the whole door.

I've decided to make not having all of my music right now like I want it so hard I'm going to get xm as soon as I get my baby back.

AND she's a fighter! there was some of the jerks blood in my car, so at least I know he/she got hurt in the process of completely ruining my day.

AND you guys are right, at least I still have Erik. He says he's just happy that someone stole my stuff rather than beating me up and car jacking me. He always knows what to say

Anywho, thank you so much guys for all your support!

sorry to hear that same thing happen to me when i lived in idaho with the acura but since it was at the radiator shop getting fixed when they stole the stereo, 2 12"subs and box, sliced the glove box and stole the radar detector, and then the spark plug wires all of it cost around 400-600 buck i got from him around 1300 or so out of his own cash. But hey maybe it is time for an alarm so at least you can be safe.

That sucks! Sorry to hear that Allie.

Progressive claims is awesome! I had to deal with them a few years ago. Glad things are getting put back together.

Alarm and renters insurance are both good things to have. Be aware most times the people come back a few weeks later and hit the same car again after the insurance has replaced everything.

The first thing I get for all of my cars is always an alarm so far I have not lost anything. Knock on wood.

I am soooo sorry this happened to you hun, especially right before v-day like you said. At least it looks like everything will be replaced. I would now hire a guard dog to sit near my car constantly.. hehe. Or simply sleep in the car with a bat every night and if they ever come back, have no mercy on them.

Take care!

Thanks guys it has brought us closer, he really was my rock yesterday. Today is already off to a great start, one of my coworkers is giving me a ride to my appointment that I thought I was going to miss, I got a yummy steamed white chocolate soy milk from starbucks this morning (which was oh so yummy) Erik drove me in to work which was nice because we got some extra time together AND we got news that something we've been waiting for finally shipped yesterday afternoon, so gray tC is getting a valentines day present. Oh and I have a trainee at work today, so I am not doing anything. All.day.long. She is doing great and I'm letting her run the show today.

I cant believe the cops actually fingerprinted I have had 4 cars broken into and even when they took one cars the cops would never finger print. I now empty out my car every night, it really sucks because I normally carry around a lot of crap. I hope they find them and give them the chair. I have no concern for thief's. You know the worst part is, statistically it is going to be one of your neighbors. Keep an eye on them the most, Do a walk through the place and look for you deck. That is how I found my stuff once. Five doors down.

Don't let it get you down, It is only stuff, you cant take it with you when you go. But what you and Erick have and the memories you make, those last and can never be taken

Death to all thief's

adorian glad to hear that erik is going out of his way to make it a better day and such. you know not having any money of valentines day for gifts and such does not ruin the day. heck you could have 0 or very low money. just have to be creative

yeah, that's a trick we use. if you're not expecting anything, it makes what we do for you that much more impressive.
