Found out I get to keep the xA and it is officially my Fuel Economy project car. Working on the (free) Aero mods this week.

kk-Radios are on channel 5. See you at the Motel 6 in south Medford tonight. Go here and preregister for the show, http://pandemonium2010.eventbrite.com/. You don't have to pay until you get there, just makes things faster.
Andrew, is James driving over with you or heading out Friday?

Give me a call when you get in to Medford - 541-601-3723 (Buddy) - I'll be taping up the front of my ride tonight ;) I'm planning on rolling out early Friday morning - what time were you all planning on heading out? Let me know yo's!! We'll roll together!
Just got back from hanging out with KK and Buddy at the DQ here in Medford. KK got a room next to us. We are all meeting at the Black Bear Diner in the morning and heading out to Reno from there around 10am. Buddy will be rolling in the all new two tone xB, lol, I think they are out of painters tape in Medford now, j/k, lol.
Have fun guys! Can't wait to follow the event on SL.

Wow that is extreme! I've heard of ppl taping the front a little for long road trips to stop small pits and chips but dang. Seems like overkill to me.
While you were at it you should have taped up more of your grill so it is more aerodynamic. If the xB has the same radiator setup as the xA then the entire passenger side of the radiator is useless because it is blocked off in the back. Might as well tape up the passenger side of the grill for the long haul.

WOW Buddy.... that looks great!!!
ROAD CONDITIONS!!!!
Well.... my GPS took me a bit further down I-5 than planned.. we cut over at McCloud.. added about an hour to the trip.
SO,
here are the GPS coordinates for the road construction.... EXPECT some delays.. but not that bad.
HWY 89 just out of McCloud: NO DELAY for us.... LAT: N 41 11" 14' LONG: W 121 37" 18'
this next one we had about a 10 min delay LAT: N 40 45" 36' LONG: W 121 29" 54'
NEXT about a 10 min Delay with a Pilot car.. ON HWY CA-44 LAT: N 40 40" 31' LONG: W 121 22" 4'
NEXT: HWY CA-44 LAT: N 40 39" 6' LONG: W 121 10" 51' LONG WAIT!!!!!
in all about 30-40 min delays.. not to bad. I hope someone has a GPS that they can plug those coordinates into.. sorry that's as close to perfect as I could get.
Have a safe drive and I will see all of you tomorrow.. well, technically today.
WOOOHOOOO FOR PANDEMONIUM!!!!!! ;)

I ended up not taping mine..
ran out of time.. I wish I did. We got stuck behind a log truck.. took some tree bark to the roof, grills and windshield.
no damage though..
1 gravel truck.. took a rock to the roof.
small paint chip.
