umm not really, you know that twitch I just pm'd u about right?? totally spaced out most of yesterday.. exhaust high at the end of the show did not help me whatsoever

 

You guys can have Skylines up there?! Screw CA, I'm moving to Oregon!!

 

I've heard of a few floating around but have only seen that one, its an amazing car to see in person, sooo clean!

 

Oregon is the same as any state. There are a couple in the NW that are motorex cars and legal.

But there are many more that are here illegally and you see them because we are so much closer to Canada. People from america's hat put them also bring them down to many shows.

Remember folks, state legal =/= federalized. Just because your car is registered doesn't mean it is here legally.

 

Used to have several up here in the Seattle area but most were tied to one main shop, Garage SPL. Unfortunately they closed up shop and moved away...so did the Skylines

No DOT approved glass, no DOT approved bumpers, no airbags in many cars after 94 (when they were required here), no legal exhaust systems, no crash test data (R33 is the only one exempt from this), no DOT approved headlights.

There are many more reasons but those are some of the big ones.

 

there are also one or two I have seen in The Seattle area........but that Grey one at the show has been my favorite.........such simple lines to the car.

the great thing is all of our models managed to model with there undies still on.........wellllll.......it is possible Nate was going comando.......you know Nate.

I wanted to have relations with that R34!! LOL That thing was so sweet. The guys who made it were really nice and i chatted wiht them for like 15 mintues about it. Nice pics everybody.

Well, that's good because I want an R33. It's the most under appreciated Skyline out there! How about Silvias? More specifically, an S15? I know there's 1 guy in Oregon that has one, but I don't know what it took to get it there.

R33 only has crash testing in its favor. It still needs the other 20 kagillion items to federalize them.

The S15 you are thinking of (white one) belongs to a higher up in the military who was stationed in Japan for a while and purchased it while there.

Importing JDM cars is like Voodou, you either know how to do it and can...or you don't.
