Photoshop fun

OK, got my new PopPhoto mag today and they had a fun thing in digital toolbox that I had to attempt, hope you like....

looks like an aerial shot.. then the pic was spherized

like

Filter<Distort<Spherized

still pretty cool looking.. some of the simplest methods in photoshop are still the greatest..

i was think north ploar cordinates, like

filter>distort>polar cordinates> rectangular to ploar

does the same thing, just did it on a pic of my car to see if it turned out the same way and i did

"spherizing" a picture only bubbles it outward

yeah, polar coordinate, simple, did it in PSE2, just never messed with it until I saw the how-to in the mag. and my son showed me how to fix the seam, not perfect, but still fun.
